So, adding a new races with far more customization options is less cost effective than adding new customizations to old races?
How is that too far fetched for you to not understand that? I guess you know nothing about development.
It would be really strange if the alliance capital was far from the new quest zones of QuelâThalas, there will be a union between the different elven groups, this union will probably concern the hode/alliance elves.
No, I know a lot about development. But youâre making the argument âit be more cost effective to copy paste options than create new options.â Hello, lets use the Drackthyr as an example, they have far more customization options than Humans and Orcs put together, and both of them have the most customizations out of all the core races.
So, no, cost is not the problem, nor is it the solution.
I disagree, you donât know anything about the cost of development, test execution and implementation. Sitting in your basement writing code is not development, thats a hobby. That being said, providing more options using an existing model requires no testing, simply adopt and implement.
Exactly, void elves, blood elves and high elves are all elves of the same people, so they could become neutral at Midnight.
Seriously, the day this happen is the same day Iâll be married to Mike Tyson.
I seriously canât imagine why anyone is responding to this thread like âno, you should not have more hairstyles because the race I play needs more, not yoursâ instead of just⌠wanting more customization options for everyone, in general.
Weird stuff.
When sharing is just one way itâs 100% understandable, as Blood Elf players or even Horde players we have yet to receive anything actually shared from Alliance because even with Nightborne they donât share Night Elf customizations.
I mean I can see how you or someone else might think itâs great because itâs something you want or you have benefited from personally which is why you are fair skinned with white hair from our customization pool.
My main is a blood elf, I want more void elf hairstyles on my blood elf. Specifically the one this character has.
When we actually get to take stuff from Void Elves or any race Alliance has youâll have a case we havenât thus far and even with Earthen Dwarves we didnât get actual Dwarves we got altered taller ones so again sharing has been and is one sided and to the benefit of Void Elf and Alliance players.
Huh? What? How is me playing a blood elf and wanting void elf hairstyles on my blood elf a benefit to void elves?
Itâs not. They are trolling you because they have nothing better else to do. I hope you get your hairstyle or something comparable for you to enjoy.
This makes no sense though. Void customizations on Bloood Elves is like asking for Void Customizations on the Draenei.
You do know the one thing the Blood Elves rely on and what is also has within it?
Theyâll get them in the same patch that adds a 7th Fem Troll face.
Sure, but Gilneas isnât far and we donât know what zones will be affected beyond probably Quelâthalas. For all we know itâll be like bfa and the Alliance and Horde will start out working in separate areas.
I just think all this focus on Silvermoon is odd when we know so little and Iâm doubtful weâll see a Horde City of this nature become so neutral that weâd be launching mythic and raids and such all from that place.
I do think during the expansion we will see a story wise allowance of high and void elves among Quelâthalas but itâs actual expansion capital?
Less convinced.
Isle of QuelâDanas though? I could see that.
I donât think anyone is asking for the voidy versions with tentacles of the hairstyles. Just the regular hairstyles.
Chris Metzen said that in Midnight we will return to QuelâThalas.
Midnightâs QuelâThalas will be completely revamped and the zones will be bigger. Maybe there could be the Amani Kingdom.
TWW High Elf NPCs already have VE/BE hairstyles, so itâs possible Blizzard will add this hairstyle sharing to VE/BE players.
Little green to be a nelf. But true. Male nelfâs have terrible eyebrows too.
