remember when they said “just give us the skin tones and that will be a fair compromise”
Remember when Anti-High Elf players said something, then started quoting it as something the High Elf players said?
Every race should have access to the physical skill based classes - Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, & Monk.
Every race should have access to the magic based classes - Warlock & Mage.
Where the arguments are valid to limit race/class combos in my mind are where belief systems kick in. Certain races believe in the light, some in nature, some in the elements, etc. That being said, with the comingling of races & belief systems on Azeroth having gone on for so long, all the belief systems would have attracted followers from all the races by now. I’d say the same thing for factions.

I just saw this incredible mockup by an artist on Twitter for in-between skin tones. These tones would allow for the Void Elves to still remain unique, but give more high elf leaning options. In a best case scenario, I see them being added to the skins already available, bringing the customization options more up to par with some of the other races. I think they are really cool and well done. I’m unsure of how to post the actual photos, but I can link to the tweet. I think everyone should see t…
oh you dont remember these topics? and how does a void elf paladin work again
Both Tauren and Highmountain can be Hunters, and Hunters can use the Camouflage talent.
If Tauren and Highmountain can be stealthy as Hunters, why then can they not be stealthy as Rogues?
You do realize I was quoting a human male joke right?
Answer is: He paints his hooves red.
My apologies, I was unfamiliar with the reference.
I’m definitely for allowing the player character to be any class. I know the main objection is how it goes against lore and class culture. The vast majority of the story and lore goes against all of that, so it’s not a fair argument. Blizz saying no isn’t the end all be all since they said no to Vanilla and here we are with BC being an expansion of that. If my character is going to be called the savior and hero of Azeroth why can’t my character be anything they want to be? At that level we are far and above what’s the norm. And truthfully what our characters can be shouldn’t hurt lore since we don’t exist within lore.
Shamans and Monks do not draw their power from the Light no matter what race they are, therefore Lightforged Draenai cannot be either of these classes because they can only draw in the Light.
Hunters and warriors don’t call upon the light. Same with Death Knights, which you would think would simply explode.
We can make Void elfs demon hunters and even NIghtborne, they are after all Elves, and i don’t think they would have such a bad time accepting or embracing the fel.
If the DH were to expand to other races, this 2 would be my bet.
They weren’t around to be demon hunters.
Draenei and Orc make more sense to me.
Illidari had access to them and nothing would need to be changed about their intro.
To be honest though I think any addition to the DH class will see the entire roster of races being added the same way you saw the DK’s be expanded.

Several people said that.
Mag’s not wrong. Just… not everyone agrees.
Like Nico for instance if I’m remembering right said that and from what I’ve seen so far has kept to it.
Every race should have access to the physical skill based classes - Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, & Monk.
I very much agree with this.
Every race should have access to the magic based classes - Warlock & Mage.
No. Some races wouldn’t have that. Wildhammer for instance are resolutely against magic of those natures because of what happened at Grim Batol during the War of Three Hammers.

A thousand times this.

Don’t the tattoo options dwarves have essentially make them a Wildhammer? Bronzebeard NPCs have never had tattoos and still don’t. Personally I want a full fledged Wildhammer Allied Race but I won’t hold my breath.
I will pay all the money in the freaking world if they gave me worgen shaman. Just take it. Have my bank account. JUST GIVE ME WORGEN SHAMAN!
Don’t be fooled, this is another Void Elf Paladin thread in disguise.
No stormhammers and no gryphon racial?
Not a Wildhammer no matter how much paint they add to the skin.
Dwarf Druid
Bear form is just regular dwarf model, but on all fours.
I like where this is going.
And missing armor.
It just keeps getting better.
Oh, I agree they aren’t full on Wildhammers. If Blizz thought they needed to give Dark Iron the Allied Race treatment they should do so for Wildhammers. What would be the point of the Council of Three hammers if the game doesn’t treat the three clans as equals? That being said you can’t fully ignore the tattoos since they are unique to Wildhammers. It establishes those dwarves are something other than a Bronzebeard since Bronzebeards don’t have them.
Imagine it. Some short, hairy alcoholic drops down to all fours with nothing on but his underwear. He starts making bear noises but no one bats an eye. No one understands how he’s able to take the punishment he can without so much as a piece of cloth to cover his body. No one dares to question it for fear of the answer. They just stare in awe and fear.
