FTFY
Iâm all for ruining the game for people who think people having fun ruins their game.
They gave blood elf hair styles to void elfs? Or you mean just colors?
Just the colors and some styles I think.
I only saw them give em the colors but not styles, but when you take off the tentacles those styles they DO have are looking fly af though
Oh I have mine with tentacles on and the platinum blonde hair. Gives me the twin shaded hair effect.
That sounds really neat. Imma need some screenshots :v I love seeing these new styles people have been posting
remember when they said âjust give us the skin tones and that will be a fair compromiseâ
Yes and no on the whole exile thing. Yes the Highborne were exiled but not all became the High Elves. Some retreated into isolation, mainly in Feralas where they collected knowledge. It is these Highborne who came to the Night Elves who started to warn them and have returned from their self exile to teach a new generation. (This was an event seen pre-cata)
We see the results of that event in a mage school that is set up in Feralas to teach the new generation of Night Elf mages who wished to learn the arcane roots of their ancestors. As you can see they some what tolerate the presence of the new mages just they keep it far from their capital. (That was the deal and still makes sense as it was close to the mentors from Dire Maul).
That is how they are explained in the lore and within the game. It is more in depth then say the Sunwalkers or how Trolls got druids after the echo isles event because a troll said weâve been hiding.
Can we get some chips?
Yes⌠Lightforged Draenai are regular draenai that underwent a ritual, but you are neglecting the importance of what that ritual actually does.
It permanently connects the draenai with the Light, as embodied by the naruu. It is that connection that give them their power and abilities. It also prevents them from drawing on energies that are outside the Light.
Shamans and Monks do not draw their power from the Light no matter what race they are, therefore Lightforged Draenai cannot be either of these classes because they can only draw in the Light.
In WC3 the High Elves/Blood Elves had Spellbreakers only as the premier melee unit, their culture has been changed over time.
They were originally a strict Arcane society.
The Paladin is a Blood Elf thing and started in BC.
Mehlar Dawnblade is also a Blood Elf/Blood Knight FYI.
Also you donât have to be a Paladin to be part of the Silver Hand. Plenty of Warriors, Hunters, Mages and so on are of that group, there just light worshippers with some knowledge of light blessings.
WHERE ARE THE KUL TIRAN PALADINS?!
There is literally no reason for them not to exist.
I agree here, we have to have some constituency in lore, come on people.
I personally donât see a negative with just opening all class/race restrictions, if you donât like certain combinations donât play them⌠but Iâm sure their are those who will, letâs bring back the RPG aspect back into the game, let players decide who their races class is⌠if I see a undead Paladin that wonât effect me at all whatsoever at all.
Will I play one?, no, but Iâm sure others would, why should I hinder their fun.
I mean, weâve killed enough of them so far.
They were primarily hunters.
No, we donât. Aside from the physical change that occurs when Draenei and the fel mix (which would lead to them being killed on sight), I donât see the Draenei picking up cannibalisms. Those who can make demon hunters arenât sharing their secrets at this time.
Illidan also tried to make orc demon hunters. They didnât survive.
This is physically impossible. Void elves still arenât high elves.
And some were rogues and warriors.
Farstriders have a similar spread.
Not really that big a leap. Besides the very nature of a Rogue is to go against their societies grain.
Devs retconned the idea that only elves can survive it.
Illidan had access to both orcs and draenei easily enough. Theyâre the two that make the most sense with the current introduction scenario.
Yes, But he was Utherâs Deciple, Is a precedent, it exist, and yes he became a Blood knight, eventually even in legion he returns and protect his former master tomb.
I think this is enough proof to asure that There where a precedent for High elves that studied the light and became paladins. Even before the whole Blood knight thing.
you canât ignore that quest, that still is relevant
We can make Void elfs demon hunters and even NIghtborne, they are after all Elves, and i donât think they would have such a bad time accepting or embracing the fel.
If the DH were to expand to other races, this 2 would be my bet.
