for a two 600 is over geared and a tank at that gear level should have zero issues with surviving. its cringey to say it but that sounds like a skill issue.
in that guild there are 7 players who are 2100 io+ they play in that guild just like me(granted my char is not that high in that guild) because we are all friends and have been playing together for many many years. the majority of them also just dont have time for mythic raiding. there are alot of players who fall into that bracket. the guild itself will usually go for the aotc which takes most of the tier then will call it when they get it.
while it is true for most people who have been playing this game for a long time that it is their hobby. its toxic to make them sound like some kind of giga weirdos who only sleep eat and breath wow. the majority of my casual friends mostly play the game to collect stuff and hang out with friends. many of us have met up irl and hung out. im going to a wedding for two people in a couple of months that actually met in that guild lol.
then maybe drop key levels and you guys would have more fun. idk you could just be burnt out on m+ from the sounds of it and maybe its time to try out other content or a different game. that always helps me out personally. i like to paly games like helldivers or space marine two when wow gets a little too hectic. its sometime fun just to go in and kill a bunch of bugs lol
We need 10s for gear. It’s not like we’re trying to push title or something.
Probably just going to raid-log for the rest of the season, then uninstall after. Paying money to be miserable isn’t something I’m going to do for long.
I don’t know who the target audience for M+ is, but it clearly isn’t me anymore.
Thats exactly what I am pointing out! 2s shouldn’t be punishing to anyone in the 600s but they are. Again, you are dealing with a group of people who have been playing a long time and 7 people already over 2k is fantastic. Time for mythic raiding does not equate to being incapable of mythic raiding from skill, again, like the vast majority of players.
AGAIN, the majority of players are not gearing in 8 to 10s and the majority of players are not doing aotc.
AGAIN, the general consesus of most avg players that do M+ is this season is unreasonably unforgiving, not worth the rewards, and an insanely daunting task over a fun challenge.
Realize, for a simple second, that you and your guild are not among the normal crew.
once again if your 600 ivl as a tank in a two and you are dying that is not the games fault. that is people playing badly. they might need to go back to m0 to get better.
never once said they were. doesnt mean the content itself is insanely hard or something. its just most people arnt motivated to even try to go that direction. so doesnt take away from my suggestion that they arnt crazy. just need to know your class and have knowledge of the dungeon and you will be fine in those keys.
according to who? do you have a poll to back this up or something because this sounds like unsubstantial bs.
dont have to be for what i said to be true. that being said we dont know what the avg player is doing because blizz doesnt provide us with that info. so all this talk you are doing about avg players is just silly since there is no possible way for you to know what the avg is.
this is just silly to use as info people always complain on the forums its basically all thats done here.
this is literally agreeing with what i said. IF YOU DONT KNOW BASIC MECHANICS THEN GO BACK TO M0. literalyl the tank has one job on that fight and you are telling me they shouldnt die if they fail that one job. m+ should never be free but if you miss patty cake more than one time then that is a skill issue.
never once said that but skill comes with motivation. if you are willing to put in the work barring handicaps of course you should be able to improve your skill enough to do 10s.
MY DUDE. If you KNOW you should kick patty cake but miss it, that is NOT because you dont know it. Its for any number of reasons. What I am saying is it shouldn’t cause a wipe.
Read your post above, you literally said motivation to go that direction.
Of course people complain on the forums but guess what? If people are writing about it, that means its a complaint. The more you see, the more complaints. (Are you still tracking this thought process?) The more you see, that means more people complaining. (Still with me?) The more people complaining, the more people are finding issues with it. Woah! Did you stay on for that entire line of thought?
why shouldnt it? its a core mechanic to the fight. there is no real reason to miss one of those casts. after the first time dying to it you should never miss it. its literally the tanks only mechanic on that fight. i dont think anything that core to fight shouldnt be severly punishing. that being said ive seen tanks miss that cast in low keys and still live. so its not always a wipe but its a giant f u to the healer.
did i say you didnt need skill? skill and motivation go hand in hand. not everyone is gods gift to gaming but that doesnt mean you cant learn to play this game at a decent level it takes motivation to do that though.
so then do you think pluderstorm was a complete and total failure then? because when that dropped the amount of negativity was astounding and yet it seemed to be success over all. people will always complain and there are real merits to taking those complaint seriously but at the same time for someone shouting about the avg player and then quoting the forums is a little hypocritical. the majority of players would never log in here even if they had a complaint lol.
