I think the purpose was to try to cause more players / easier access to keys, because X players divided by 10 different keystones = more keys than X divided by 20 … but thats absolutely NOT how it’s working out. There are only 1-5 keys available of each key anyway, even with the squish.
And this does not count the 4 alts I have between 72 and 78. So right now, it may look like I live in the forums, but I can assure everyone I am playing this game and loving it
I am not that guy. You were drilling some DK I think, or whomever it was.
This was the guy. I am a casual.
The point I was making was, don’t write checks with your mouth that your body can’t cash and calling someone out from an alt, while bored with the game, and cruising the forums hardly paints you in a good light.
Here’s the thing about me and others like me. Here is what end game looks like.
Do all the quests and campaign to view the story
Do all non-Mythic content to see more of the story
Play alts to keep professions active for personal use
Get gear as high as LFR Normal, and then chill til Season 2
Continue the campaign
Explore the new zone we always get
Finish seeing all of that content and nudge the gear score slightly higher if needed to see more of LFR with friends
Do some pet battles, world events like “holidays”, and maybe level a new alt just to pass the time
Lather, Rinse, and Repeat all of it til the 12.02 Pre-Patch event where my new Purple gear is higher than Mythic Raid gear to then carry me to 85 or 90, whatever the new ceiling is.
Most people focus on M+ and AOTC raiding, and forget the main reason we all started playing wow… the RPG. I see the same story and dialogue on Normal LFR everyone else sees in a M+ Raid. “End game” is subjective to 6M players… we all have our own definition… and none of us are wrong. Not even you.
Your group wasn’t good then. My lowest geared alt can survive anything in 2-4s. Show some evidence and numbers if we are going to egg this on. I guarantee they were failing mechanics.
Issue is that a t8 delve is objectively better in terms of time spent and rewards. You can technically go weeks and not see a single drop in raid and m+. You get guarenteed gear from each delve you complete. T8 delves also give objectively better gear track than m+ as well, T8 is far easier than a +2 and rewards you in vault with hero track gear wheras the +2 would net you champion.
