Can we get rid of Slice And Dice?

I’d vote to get rid of it, but only if we could get expose armor or deadly throw back with some reworks. Personally thought I’d rather keep it and rework it, AND get more of our old finishers back.

I miss the feeling of really taking the enemy apart.

Also think SnD is going to be better than some of yall think for assassination if you are running kingsbane.

It definitely is. People don’t stop to realize how much SnD interacts with other class abilities, and they stop at “SnD doesn’t make a big yellow number pop up so it’s bad.”

The benefits of SnD have never been in question. It’s the implementation that people have issues with.

In it’s current form, we have a maintenance buff. Which I don’t really have a problem with. However, each spec is given mechanics that essentially turn SnD into a set-and-forget ability. At this point, it makes much more sense to make SnD a passive ability. This would free up a button slot on the action bar. It would also free up slots on the talent tree. There is also opportunity for another finisher - hello Deadly Throw.

I wish they would just GIVE people the option: either a talent for SnD as it is or a talent for a passive (essentially a choose 1 of 2 talent like they have now for skills). Those that like and can juggle the extra maintenance buff and like the extra damage from the skill level required GREAT they get their cake, and those that don’t like SnD and would rather just worry about spec specific stuff/skills GREAT they can have their cake too.

It’s a simple solution that solves all the problems and yet for some reason we can’t get that implemented so one group or another gets shafted/forced into something they don’t like or prefer.

Honestly I have tried testing out Outlaw without SND and it only really works in PVP. Same with Sub because SND is situational in PVP.

But it should remain a choice and I think making a talent that people can choose to make it passive seems reasonable to me.

But removing SND means that Rogues will be nerfed. That is a guarantee 100%.

At this point they need to, I’m constantly sitting on 3+ minutes of SnD so you might as well just give me a constant SnD.

I remember the sweet relief in WoD when it became passive.

Slice and dice used to give increase energy regen and crit i think.

If it gave increased energy regen it would be a decent ability.

Right now it just feels lackluster.

It does for Outlaw and Subtlety, though. By attack more frequently, you get more Fatal Flourish procs as Outlaw and more Shadow Technique procs as Subtlety.

Can rogues no longer dual wield swords?

but pirates use swords?

Rogue has become too complicated and isn’t even fun to play anymore. Sadly I will be ditching it and going DH.

Always fun to see someone that absolutely has no idea benefits of abilities to class they play. Try ninendo

It would be nice to have the benefits without having to keybind it. I said it many times before, SnD makes more sense as a passive ability.

The game will eventually be all automated with this kind of thinking.

meanwhile rogues are the top 3 dps in current raid tier showing it could be removed and they would still be at least middle of the pack

At a minimum, take it off the GCD!

I agree that it should just be a class passive that is bolted on to finishing moves.

Tbh this would probably be fine. But no, absolutely don’t remove it.

It wasnt reduced to a crit buff. It was changed bc it was low damage and the stun did nothihg against bosses so it sat unused. The change is good

S&D is trash
