You can’t, because you’d have to remove all the people. You see, every living person has one mother and one father. Your very existence speaks to your parents natural relations, which resulted in procreation.

Every character in this game was the result of a normal natural relationship. Every person reading this was too. You could never get rid of the (implied) “straight” relationships.

i would love the option to make my own player character gay and have the opportunity to pursue a male to male relationship with male NPCs in games. Maybe an idea for the xpac after SL? I’d love to comfort Mankrik every night for the rest of our lives

Why does it have to be coded into the game? The game has existed for over a decade, and as far as I can tell, you can have a fake gay relationship with any NPC that you want just like any player could have a fake non-gay relationship with any NPC that they want.

This isn’t about asking for “equality” at this point. It’s about asking for “extras”.

I find that odd. It happens… Topics get moved. But to see it happen at near 1000 posts is curious.

Ah, so that’s why I wasn’t seeing it in GD. I got a notification from it and saw it was still active. Very weird overall.

Maybe they are sending it here because they are hoping it’ll die. Which, it could have a while ago, but homophobes seem unable to help themselves.

Forum mods do that from time to time. Instead of just locking an LGBT thread, it gets toilet flushed over here. It’s kinda funny because usually any leftover discussion improves if the thread continues, probably because (from what I’ve seen, at least) the regulars here are relatively more united about the topic.

Yeah - I am seeing the Palegos thread from a Trans person has been moved as well. Wow mods, not subtle at ALL lol.

I mean usually the LGBTQ people made the thread fun, it was the homophobes that just…kept on coming.

Anyway, I guess its one way to try to kill the thread instead of outright removing it.

Open my eyes? Yeah… I would love to, but the health angle and science disagrees. The human body needs a solid amount of sleep to function correctly. Most of the people I’ve encountered tend to be very grumpy and angry. Doesn’t seem healthy long-term at all. IMHO if you want to be rested, do society; and your body a favor and get in a few more hours of sleep. Because most folks seem to be mighty cranky when they forgo it.

I don’t blame you there. The way those characters were portrayed put quite a few people off. I know I rolled my eyes a lot in Val’Sharah. Then again I personally don’t like a lot of the main story lately. It’s usually the smaller parts and zone specific quests that I like and really catch my attention.

Who knew an NPC mentioning their partner, who happens to be the same sex, was some form of sexualization. You’re weird. lol

It’s because when they’re introduced to a couple, these people’s only thoughts are what that couple does in bed. They’re literally obsessed with it.

I can’t count the times someone has said to me “BuT WhIcH oNe Of U iS tHe GiRl!?” Well for 1, the entire point is that neither one of us is, and 2 - that’s none of your gd business.

It’s crazy and I’d laugh more if those same people weren’t such a roadblock for progression. I’ll always come back to what happened to a local politician here in South Florida. He was totally against strip clubs and wanted to clean up the city and remove any sorta stuff like that. Well, their name gets tied to a sex scandal and he quietly resigns without a word. Funnily the ones that voice the loudest are often the most deviant. It happens quite often.

I’m sure the folks calling LGBT extreme would love to talk about the NIFB and MASA that’s a bigggg can of worms that’s way worse than anything I’ve seen LGBT+ do.
