With the release of Ruby Sanctum coming next week. I think we should be able to farm Frost Emblems from Heroic:Gamma Dungeons. The way tier works this phase it is incredibly difficult to get alts caught up because you cannot loot a tier token to trade in without Tons of Frost Emblems. With the raiding population of WotLK dwindling and most of the player base swapping to SoD finding 10 mans or dailies has proven to be a difficult task. Since Ruby Sanctum release is a new “phase” I think we should be able to get Frost Emblems from Heroic Gammas. This would at least allow people to get alts up to play current content and allow people to get characters ready for Cata if they choose.

Id actually rather see frost emblems go to regular heroics. Just eliminate the need for toxic gammas for the final 3 months of the expac.

Ha, that’d be like admitting their “some changes” weren’t that great to begin with.
As if we can’t see it already cause bloody everyone just runs FoS daily for their emblems rather than random.

I think it would be to fast and everyone would stop playing within a few weeks if you could farm frost emblems from heroics.
Why? Every main has been done with frost emblems for a month and a half and not stopped playing.
Tell that to the people playing Season of Dull.
They have nothing to do other than one raid every 3 days, a few dungeons and a reputation grind and they keep playing all the same.
Same thing applies to Wrath of the WOTLK and Wrath of the Dragonflight… except wotlk and retail both have tons of things to do

Every new raid tier, whatever the latest emblem is should just replace the previous emblem. If Blizzard wants to make more drop from harder difficulty, fine, but it’s very disheartening for a new player to only be able to queue for a regular heroic, and only get emblems for 200ilvl gear.
But that’s because sod will go past 25…wotlk will be cata soon… Also eot goes to 245 Ilevel… It would be like getting rid of all the grind and just jump to icc. then I mean I guess since it’s becoming cata soon but that defeats the purpose of classic. A new player at the end of the expansion isn’t a good idea to begin with lol because you started way late means everyone else who played when it started has just wasted their time then screw them right? Then why not just wait till the end of the xpac to play… people would wait to skip the grind. Last 3 months player count skyrockets because of lazy. there’s a total of 93 eofs you can aquire a week, and if you don’t include icc or rs then about 22. It takes 405 for a set. If you know there’s a time limit then plan accordingly. I would say it would be kinda fair if they made a wotlk only server so you could play forever.
Playing WoW is a waste of time, stop crying over pixels.
A new player at any given time IS a good thing, what kind of braindead ape you have to be to think otherwise? You can’t keep a healthy population if new players don’t stay.
People shouldn’t have to “plan” nothing just to get decent gear, it’s a stupid videogame, not a second job, get a grip.
Also, if there’s a time limit that is even more of a reason to give even more Frost Emblems

Regular heroics give Emblems of Triumph. The fact you can trade them down to Conquest lets you fill most slots with 232-245 gear. The ilvl of the gear isn’t the problem - the real problem is that the queue for regular heroic is way too long due to a combination of most people doing Gammas and the overall population of WotLK having been gimped by SoD. So it’s pretty difficult to get started as a fresh 80.

But that would be a good change and might reveal that people want to play wrath era and we cant have that. We need to make wrath this way so there might be a small chance that when cata drops there will not be a steady decline once it does.

Play at the last week and cry about how you couldnt get to end game you make no sense. Phase 3 came out June 20th, 2023 and it ends in 3 months your telling me you couldn’t think ahead??? Your right it is a waste of time and you still couldn’t waste it correctly, and my point exactly they stopped playing wotlk for SoD because guess what sod is ON GOING… Wotlk will end… Make better decisions please and brain dead?okay attack me because I’m smarter than you to plan ahead. It’s like coming to class only at the last month of the semester and still trying to believe you should to get an A. Bro go back to school.
But the point of classic is the grind… it’s not retail were you can literally get to end game raiding in 2 weeks… I leveled 1-70 and got 424ilevel in 8 days… I stopped retail because it’s so boring and easy and it’s really just bullet hell with little mechanics. I play a healer and all the videos I see are healers casting 4 heals and just dpsig the rest of the time. From phase 3 there is about 10months left to get to icc… without doing icc and rs it would take 18weeks to get the eof gear… also if you looked back to when cata 1st came out that’s when wow player base dropped…
Considering how some people is buying saronites with EoF’s there’s no really any point anymore but just bring a catch up mechanic for people trying to play cata or alts… 
In cata the greens from quest will be better than any gear you can get wotlk. A catch up mechanic would be kinda cool but then again people would just wait to skip the grind.
With that mentality dont raid ever because the next tier will have better gear…
Yeah I get it but at the same time it’s a shot in the dark all of this requests (eofs from gammas, reduce the price on t10 and so on) considering the classic dev’s have shown 0 interest in throwing any sort of atention to anything that’s not sod related…

I don’t think I’ve seen any game were you come in at the last patch there’s still people doing old content.
I’d say raid because it’s fun not because of the gear, I use to raid with less gear because it felt more accomplising when it was harder. Like doing fos / pos with greens/blues where I only had 11k mana to heal the whole dungeon I had to use my heals wisely and not just spam because I have really good gear.
Too fast? There is like 3 months remaining in a dead expac? Pls re-explain yourself, what is too fast on content that is dead and just waiting for cata? We already stopped playing bro
There are already only about 89k US players. The last time it was this low was way back in the beginning of TBC.
I would say this version of the expansion that retained the most players and had the highest number of players is an utter failure. More people did Naxx than any other raid, and more people did ToC than ICC.
