Why would anyone start fresh on era servers? There is literally noone around, if I want to level up and run dungeons it is incredibly unlikely I will be able to find 5 players to run deadmines with. The only way I’d be able to run leveling dungeons is asking for a 60 to come in and steam roll everything for me. That isn’t fun. Fresh brings in players, everyone starts together, all at the same level, you can quest and do dungeons with strangers, there is life in every zone whilst leveling. Era has none of that. You could try find other people who want to level, but you’d have to find them first, then you’d have to organise all to play at the same time. So you’re not really meeting anyone, and the world isn’t lively, you aren’t going to encounter any world PvP of similar geared and level players.
Sounds like you are a die hard era advocate, that’s fine that you enjoy era, i don’t want to play like that. You seem to be telling people they are wrong for wanting to play a game how they want to play, I’m not saying you aren’t allowed to enjoy era. You are entitled to enjoy whatever you like, you aren’t entitled to tell people what they should enjoy though or how they should play the game because people’s enjoyment of a game is based off their own experiences. My experience of era is nott he same as yours.
He is telling the playerbase what they should and should not like. While he rots on era with 8 people online prime time.
Then he ignores fresh data of other games, and says it doesn’t exist and his opinion is law.

I do dabble in Era. My point is Blizz isn’t wasting their time with P H R E S H because they know you and the rest of the locusts will leave it a dried out husk after 3 months.

So you need a new server to accomplish the same thing you could do just by pugging Strat or UBRS? How is the game different though? Its a copy of the same game on the rest of the servers is it not?

If Blizzard opens up a new server tomorrow can you guarantee that there will always be people to level and dungeon and occupy zones with for the next three years? Or does that all go away? Im only asking because if the end result is another server no one wants to play on then what would be the point? So you can ask for another new server because its 100% on Blizzard to make deadmines groups available to you?
Gee whiz its almost as if you’re suggesting that players have a role to play in enhancing their experience. Imagine that, you might have to be an actual community and put something into it to get something out. Nah, its just easier to get Blizz to coerce people to occupy leveling content for 90 days so you can get your fix before you abandon the game you supposedly love so much.
I love the original game, sure, but Im not advocating anyone play it. Only if they want to of course.

They already did that, they don’t need to keep rolling out fresh Era servers. It makes zero sense for them to do so. They also addressed your concerns already in the form of seasonal servers that disappear when the season ends. Enjoy! You get to play with quality human beings like Lzkx. Have fun!

I debunked this already. Its in the thread above. There was no data about other games. Just a side not about other games being online because other games existing is a startling revelation no one knew about. Diablo style games like PoE have resetting seasons built into them, didnt you know? And oh yea, EQ is still around - because that’s relevant. Lets not forget the 2D Asian MMO no one here cares about that opened up a new server. Blizzard needs to take their cues from 20 year old top down 2D MMO because they dont know how to handle their own game apparently.
