That is the real question. Som 2 a single classic realm I don’t care. I check every week for maybe a lead or fresh post on the matter I get dragon flight just came out. But a future to look forward too outside of raid logging wotlk would make a lot of us happy.

most SoM players didn’t care one iota about where our characters were going to go at the end of the season. a seasonal player expects to start over. that’s how it works.

I’m looking forward to SoM Fresh as well, especially if Soul of Iron returns. But to be blunt, I don’t expect them to release anything again for it until ICC is over. They’re putting more work into Wrath raids than the previous 2 expacs and likely don’t want to purposely lower their playerbase.
Also the more we get random trickles of SoM the less likely we’ll get a solid Classic +. If anything, SoM probably convinced them that majority of players are over Classic Fresh already.

The OP said he didnt care about SoM. He wanted a Fresh Era realm instead. I more or less asked the OP what the point was since those people will just ask to opt out of it later on.
This has nothing to do with SoM but if you want to go there SoM players asked to be let out in Wrath to such a degree that Blizz altered their original plan of putting SoM players on Era realms and gave them the option to port over to Wrath instead.
Hence my rhetorical question to the OP.
