Yep you’re definitely trolling. You refuse to acknowledge the true inspiration behind satyrs in this game, refuse to acknowledge the actual lore for this game and refuse to answer questions posed to you.
Everything you’ve said is either offensive, ignores the game or is just said in an attempt to trigger others.
I’m just going to say those who scream “BUT IN COMMON LORE” need to go sit in a corner (preferably filled with lava) due to extreme lack of any sort of imagination.
The point of fantasy is to use your imagination and do something differently than others. If you want ‘strict by this mythology’, go play a really boring variant of D&D.
Otherwise, you people need to understand that not every single fantasy game is going to have the same lore as the origin whatever the fantasy creature came from. SMH.
Extra lava for the utter nonsense you’re spewing. This has to be among the most ridiculous things I’ve seen this week.
Eh I just included some races that just have female variants but no male. basically the same goes. They can do like the Incubi as in basically "Same race but just called differently.
Oh my GODS that’s rich comedy… I just… wow. “spirit of male essence” and “culturally insensitive” what even is this? There’s no way that person isn’t a troll. I tossed them on ignore after my sass to them because I honestly am not going to give people like that the time of day further than that, but their ridiculous ‘beliefs’ are worse than I thought.
Imagine getting through life thinking nonsense like that Gods I’m cracking up right now.
Then you’re probaby not qualified to be chiming in on the debate about whether or not to alter them.
It’s well established in Greek Mythology - goats are a symbol (to them at least) of ruttiness and the “half man” part is more about just a head (well two, if you count the “other” one - always prominent so to speak) and arms.
Do a little reading out of the forums and educate yourself a bit. Might be fun.
As far as greek mythology, there are no female satyrs. The closest thing to one was a nymph but that’s an entirely different creature. Satyress is a post-roman invention of european artists, and quite frankly, an absurd idea. The romans altered it to suit their religion so as to provide a female counterpart which is comparative to how people nowadays feel a ridiculous compunction to alter anything and everything to suit their inane beliefs.
