Can we get Black blood elves in TBC

Calling people uppity = Asking them to listen to their better angels ~ Glinda2021

heyyy, you have a nice dark skin color and humans do also. in fact, every race with human skin tones, other than gnomes and blood elves, have a dark skin color option. lets go with the idea that highborne dark blue skin shades, translated to dark brown skin shades on blood elves. we know its possible because the felblood elves of the sunwell, have the entire human pallete plus highborne shades also

Perhaps you should read my sentence again.

Diagram it if you have that skill.

My meaning might be clearer if you do that.

I know exactly what the implications of this old word that no one uses in current year are. And my response was that you are essentially doing the same exact thing when you use current year equivalents upon other people based on their skin color.

So yes…Calling people uppity = Asking them to listen to their better angels ~ Glinda2021

Still applies and makes you look kinda bad in this correct context. But hey, its just your true colors showing here…and its honestly the issue with all people politically pushing this activism today and its why people are tired of it.

They don’t want reasonable logic, they just want no dark skin options period

Wrong.

Your response was wrong.

well my rationale for it is - why not, it isnt as if their skin isnt effected by their environment. the shadowsworn (felblood) elves have it all, from dark brown to dark blue. fair skinned and red skinned. even a somewhat dark gold. i wonder if blizz was gonna use those options for belfs originally, then changed their minds

I’m fine with customization options, its this racist implication crap right here that always comes with it that makes your push not about customization but about political activism instead.

well for me, its just cause i think it works, seems reasonable and a large variety of customization options is something mmos are famous for.

Here’s a small guide to the simple logic we all use…

I want customization options (Good)
Blizzard is racist because they are gatekeeping representation (Bad)

Blizzard says we can add customization options (Good)
Blizzard says those options don’t exist for that fantasy race in lore. (Also Good)

Players respond to lore based rejection - Blizzard is racist because they just don’t want dark skinned X race (Bad)
Blizzard responds by changing all of the lore and options to sate the politically driven activism (Also Bad)
Players still think that blizzard is racist even though they made the changes because their confirmation bias was reinforced via these lore additions (Also Bad)
Goalposts move to the next thing slandered in some way to get changes created. (Also Bad)

Politically Driven activism is designed to flex power by making other people do things. And that power trip is what drives people to do these things.

Maybe when Tera came out, but before then MMOs really didn’t have customization options because MMOs never put that much work into their customization options.

star wars galaxies released around the same time as wow. hehe

Almost every MMO didn’t put the work into customization options. Literally every popular MMO of its time was like this. When Tera and Aion came out they really mainstreamed it. Heck even Rift didnt’ have a lot of customization options, then focused on customizing your talent trees.

It’s simply something MMOs put different amounts of work into. Because an MMO puts less work into something, it doesn’t mean there’s some racist dev in the shadows twirling their mustache.

City of Heroes came out in 2004 and still has the best character creator I’ve seen to this day.

How is anti racism, political activism?

No political party is pro racism to my understanding

Super Hero MMOs almost entirely rely on character customization as most of the game’s content. Also unfortunately, it never caught on. But keep in mind in super hero mmos the options are endless because the lore is open ended. So your character can be anything, so the customization must reflect this to the best of their ability.

yeah no deal with it

Anti-racism movement is based from actual racists calling non-racists racist and trying to ruin their lives via political protest and radical political activism. Similar to how the “Anti-fascist movement” is based off actual fascists calling people who have never been fascist…fascist and using fascist tactics in their political protests.

That’s the problem. People aren’t pro racism but this implication is created and attached to everything that these people politically protest against.

That’s a serious problem in society, you have a serious slanderous situation where people are constantly being draped in this because it makes people do what they want. Call Blizzard racist because they don’t have X? Blizzard will bow to you and make sure X happens. Then they go to Y and repeat the process.

star wars galaxies was an mmorpg. they even had a class spec called the image designer - you became a barber, beautician, cosmetic surgeon. i could customize nearly everything, including height/weight/horns/gills/breast size, muscle size, tats, skin color, fur color, scale color, fur patterns, scale patterns, fish frills, chin shape, eyebrow shape/size/color, ear shape, etc etc. made good tips doing that. was a fun spec

All these blatant no sayers being alliance players
Players give me solitude on why I stopped playing the alliance.

To much all class matter, boot licking vibes on the blue team
