That’s the thing…the narrative isn’t true. That’s the reason why people have contempt for the people pushing this.
It’s not because people are against customization, its because these people aggressively push the narrative that Blizzard as a company is racist and abhorrent and needs to be protested until they change.
Inserting black elves into a world they didn’t exist directly effects everyone who wants classic TBC the way it was. It’s not necessary, you already have them in retail. Retail is the game you sculpted for your inclusivity agenda. Now let us have our game where we can exclude.
It’s not even exclusion. This assumes there was a choice to put them in or not and we chose to not put them in.
The lore and stories around the existence of the elves didn’t have this until it was retconned and sculpted in long after TBC.
I swear, pushing for this would be no different than asking for White Clingons from Star Trek. Outside of an albino, it wouldn’t be something that exists because the lore of the fantasy race doesn’t exist for that.
