Can we finally get playable the high elves?

Blood Elves are those of us who honour our past. We are survivors.
High Elves are traitors who want to bang humans more than they want to honour their past and their people

Calling any true Sin’dorei a High Elf is an insult.

Genetically, culturally, historically (up until maybe the 3rd war) they are exactly the same. Just because they choose not to take the new name doesn’t change the shared history. Like I said Alleria didn’t suddenly become different than Lor’themar (a person she knew) after Arthas attacked Silvermoon on Wednesday afternoon, regardless of her sexual partner preference. Her neighbor, Elfy McElferson, who’s driveway she shoveled every winter, didn’t become a completely new being just cuz Kael changed the name of their society.

More like overly biased nonsense with no real arguments or suggestions on how to feasibly add helves.

We get it. You hate void elves… shesh lol.

If it was me, i would have used the point of stone dwarves. Since that is going to be a 3rd dwarf race and all for reasoning for a 3rd sindorei.
Then came up with some quick lore of them coming back into power. Something Something a new well if eternity gave them powers after the aspects got their powers back, azeroth things.
Then something something them using their new powers to help move legion dal to the underground for the next xpac.

That would be a more logcial arguement as you added reasoning, made it current and didnt devolve it to an anti void tirade lol.

If you had respect for the franchise you’d get that the WC2 high elves are, 90% of the time, blood elves, in a way that’s painstakingly explained over two of TFT’s campaigns.

Lor’themar is explicitly a second war veteran.

Incidentally High elves have basically been irrelevant since Legion - a few showed up in legion proper, mostly worked in class halls with fellow blood elves, and then other than Vereesa just don’t really show up anymore.

Yes, key word, called.

We didn’t change our race.

Depends.

If you are talking Quel’Dorei in the sense of Highborne (like the Shal’Dorei), then no.

If it was that bad, Quel’Thalas would be renamed.

Sentiments, we agree. I’m just more flexible in my thinking I guess.

Calling a very radical patriotic Sin’Dorei a High Elf might be. It does not change the fact, racially, we are still High Elves with all the history and culture.

No True Scotsman!

Yeah, that’s not how it works.

cough

What are we chopped liver? We’re still here!

False. We’re simply not called “High Elf” and are playable.

LOL no, the traitors are the ones who backstabbed their alliance for drugs.

No, the High Elves didn’t even leave at that point “for drugs.” Most of the High Elves left after fulfilling an oath to the Alliance after the 2nd war. In the third war Kael and his men helped the Alliance but then were sentenced to death. Then fled with the Naga. The sucking magic from beings came after all of that.

There’s no reason to deny us the Quel’dorei.

They’re one of the major elven “Tribes” that will be uniting in a the 2nd of the worldsoul saga.

Let us be the REAL elves.

The sad thing is that I wouldn’t be that surprised if that did indeed ended up happening

How exactly can reunification happen with that mindset pray tell? Go tell a blood elf “let’s reunite, imposter elf!” And see how that goes

they are already in game , they are in alliance, they have faction, leader, city, least effort to make them playable for a lot of people that been asking them since 2004 to be playable.

Hmm. The wiki paints a very different picture.

Void elves and blood elves become one neutral race.

But to put salt on HE fans, Let’s just call them thallassian elves instead of HE.

Might as well since VE’s as a concept is a scrapped idea now and VE’s are only a sub race of their own race.

It also reduces race clutter. and the slots can be given to other races that is not available.

This I don’t agree with, the silver covenant is high elves, and the alliance did help a high elf lodge in cata (Horde goes attacking them both in a quest line)

If your gonna attack someone, at least get it right. There was also a quest in pandaria that spoke of a husband and wife being on opposite sides.

Blood Elves are literally High Elves that went “Hey bruh lets call ourselves Blood Elves instead in honor of 90% of our population being slaughtered”

You aren’t going to get through to these people.

Literally no difference between blood elf, void elf and high elf now that the two can have blue eyes. They are high elf. You can play them.

We don’t need another entire elf for some redundant eye color to add to the already bloated count of elf.

Stop it, you have a problem.
