Been playing for 15 years and whilst I’ve seen my fair share of multi-boxers I’ve never really been negatively affected by them.
The closest thing to direct interaction has been things like AVs with like 5-10 player multi-boxers on one side, which honestly is pretty hilarious to see, but really not frequent enough to be a serious issue.
I must say I have in the past watched a couple of videos (I think around TBC) where there was a multi boxer that would play a 5 man dungeon group and level through Outland doing dungeons with like a Warrior, triple Warlock, Priest setup. Was a pretty interesting thing at the time.
I see why people have issues with them, but I also don’t experience the issue being as dramatic as a lot of people proclaim it is. Maybe we just aren’t as exposured over on OCE servers.
Tbh though this entire topic has been done to death and if blizzard really cared that people were using multiple accounts they would’ve been against TOS long ago, I highly doubt they will ever be. Their stance has clearly been that 1 person=1 action no matter if it’s duplicated to multiple accounts.
Botting is the one that’s bannable by their eyes and by mine as well, where you have a computer doing the clicking for you, you don’t need to do anything other than activate it but then it goes through the motions by it self.
I personally think the multiboxer community is very small and insignificant, it does more good than harm keeping prices low or at least in supply, but I also believe even if they didn’t exist prices would still be dirt cheap because of how incompetent most of the players are that undercut in wow, they don’t realize that the cheapest item whether it’s undercut by 1 copper or 10 gold is going to sell first and there’s no difference between the two other than undercutting by a higher % crashes markets because I’m sure they won’t be the only one to do it and it also reduces profit for others as well.

If you can’t figure out the difference between one guy farming on one account and one guy farming on 10 accounts on how it effects its adversely to a point you allow it

You are right. They’ve clearly stated that it is not against the rules.
While I do understand and agree with the frustrations it causes, they choose to allow it to happen. And I still believe they do it because it’s THAT many more subs.
Personally they’re great, I took off my old felt covers to get rid of the leather because I’m an oily person, I wear my welding cap so I don’t ruin the leather if that tells you anything or at least to make it last longer because I don’t think I hate anything more than the fake leather pealing off of chairs or headphones. I’m not an audiophile but I did a lot of research and these were like the most sold headphones whether it was their original version or this second iteration compared to higher quality headphones, I think the next step would be spending 2-5x more for sennheiser or another expensive brand but from experienced reviews I read/watched they said they couldn’t notice a difference unless you spent like 3-600$ on a pair of headphones which I’m not willing to, these were like 150~.
