Tbh they’re such a small % of the player base they don’t really have a super big affect on the ah, if anything they make some items cheaper for the masses. Other than possibly flooding some niche markets like herbs/ore and boe mounts world pvp or instanced bgs would be the only other place I could see them being an annoyance to other players, but who cares about that content, wpvp and instanced bgs have sucked for a very long time.
yeah, I mostly just boxed to get us into 5 man runs and to have the other account with an AH character. Even that got old though.
Doesnt matter at the end of the day…boxers are allowed to farm…allowed to run the AH…and allowed to PvP…just like anyone else who’s playing the game

huh…oddly enough I have trouble with NON boxers ruining my gaming experience by being idiots and killing quest NPC’s over and over for half an hour just to try to be obnoxious.

This, I agree to. I have no beef with multiboxers farming. People who like to inflate prices on this dislike them because they keep prices low. As a consumer, I like buying cheap herbs.
On the other hand, PVP is fun but what isn’t fun is having 8 Shaman land by you…

Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that 1 character farming herbs vs 5 characters farming herbs is going to be more lucrative lol. The same thing could be said of having more and more toons that you can easily level to farm more and more lockouts for mounts as well.

We have warmode now and the ability to turn off pvp so that issue is resolved, as far as non rated pvp who cares, that’s for baddies and it’s worthless content with very little to no reward you can surpass by other means.

I tried box farming for maybe 2 hours just to check it out.
meh…yeah…double the mats, but it was seriously annoying more than fun.
Anyone can box…so I have no sympathy for those who dont do it but want to cry about others doing so.

Warmode is fun. Engaging in actual PVP is fun. What I listed is not fun and there is not a single person who will say it is, who isn’t trying to wind people up.

I agree, I’m lazy af but I still only use one toon and still make millions of gold although I’m an opportunist so most of my gold comes from the start of expansions and patches along with high demand items. I’d rather make a couple mill every few months than grind for hours to make a few hundred thousand in the same timespan comparing to farming herbs.
As a consumer, I like buying herbs for low prices.
Kind of like how I can order many things from China for $1 (for most) and free shipping. My wife purchased a pair of knock off airpods from China for like $15 shipped to our door. I was very skeptical at first. I’m an audiophile and I could not tell a difference between the sound quality on them and my daughter’s actual airpods.
If 10 player farming on 10 account brings the price down - No problem
If 1 player farming on 10 account that’s not cool

Manipulation is still manipulation regardless if the prices sky rocket or drop .
My point being is that I would think it’d be logical to go somewhere else or turn wm off if you’re going to get mad by getting ganked whether it’s a multiboxer or not. You have options, heck take a break and try later or farm at a different hour. The more logical decision would just to turn off wm to do what you need to do then when you’re finished turn it back on. Wpvp typically isn’t fun as most incursions are 5v1 no matter what side you’re on and it’s a waste of time and worthless content that doesn’t give a reward. I’ve had my warmode on up until a week ago btw since the start of bfa, I agree with some of what you said but I don’t complain about it I fix it with what ever system I have available.

Might as well allow botting- it does the same thing reduce time needed to reach your goal without putting 10X the effort on 10 accounts.
One person making enough gold to fund multiple accounts or more, then using a software that’s allowed by blizzard doesn’t sound wrong to me, just sounds like they have the know how and want to put in the effort to use the system to their advantage.
Btw the prices aren’t that low because of multiboxers the majority of the time, the masses aren’t informed or educated enough to know how to undercut properly. Like I said earlier try at the beginning of an expansion to post enchants/herbs/ores/gems etc. and see how often and how fast you get undercut, not by multiboxers but the casual player.
I don’t ask how or where the herbs on the AH came from. I just buy them. In the end for me, it doesn’t matter.
Whether it’s cool or not is subjective.
