Can we all admit that the Forsaken

Sums it up pretty darn well, lol

So you want to starve the Amani?
Typical elves.

My main is actually a giant werewolf(Worgen) thank you very much. :dracthyr_heart:

Should loot and pillage first. At least take the good stuff before youā€™re cruel about not feeding them

Edit: Itā€™s a joke. Relax. I know some of you are ready to freak out over it

Well for starters when reclaiming Gilneas I would have had it be a joint venture with the new ā€œnot so evilā€ forsaken to eliminate forsaken that were still loyal to Sly that lead the seige campaign that way it makes it feel that those responsible for the seige faced punishment.

Second having the new ā€œnot so evilā€ forsaken liberate the humans of hillsbrad ending the evil that has been going on there and restoring SS so they have place to live, which than gives the New Forsaken a way of showing they wish to mend bridges and atone for the atrocities committed by Sly forsaken.

It would have been a better why to segway into the changes to the forsaken.

Iā€™m not a troll. Iā€™m a void elf

This used to be a super common view in the old forums. I saw ideas about Alliance occupying Org and Undead moved to some corner of Northrend while the Alliance reclaimed Lorderon

Iā€™ve seen some suggest here on the rare occasion. Doesnā€™t happen nearly as often as it used to though

Most anyone that played WC3 would understand why they wanted to reclaim Lordaeron.

And myself as a big fan of Frozen Throne wanted the city to stay in Forsaken lands : ).

Most anyone whoā€™s played World of Warcraft knows why they shouldnā€™t.

Every Stormwindian player should have their characters forcibly converted to Kul Tirans and Paladins should be outright deleted.

Itā€™s the only way to make up for their factionā€™s harm. For too long their blandness has gone unchecked. Thousands of potentially interesting Alliance storylines died on a storyboard so we could see more Johnny Knightguys swing swords at people.

They had Victorian werewolves! They had purple Amazonian tiger riders! THEY HAD DWARVES! All of that sacrificed so we could see DudeInArmor hit stuff with a sword.

There is no forgiveness. No recompense. Only punishment.

The most hilarious thing is, the Alliance hasnā€™t had a prominent human paladin until Turalyonā€™s return. Bolvar was there butā€¦ not really all that prominent until the Wrathgate. In fact, the Horde had more iconic Paladins for the longest time, between Liadrin from BC, and Dezco in MoP. By contrast the Alliance had Muraad whoā€¦ did nothing until WoD, in which he also died.

Even the humans were reduced to the most generic and bland fantasy story, devoid of even the mildly interesting paladin aesthetic.

I agree. Quite frankly, every faction and race/class is guilty.

I say we delete it all. Thereā€™ll be one race, which will be a gray amorphous blob. There will be one class, appropriately named, ā€˜Class.ā€™ There will be one faction called, ā€˜The Group.ā€™

Finally, weā€™ll have a quality game.

The leader of the allianceā€™s korkron is a paladin.

Alliance went all in on Anduin and Jainaā€¦which is a choice.

I donā€™t even hate the characters just think they have been way overdone.

South Shore had blight radiation due to a volatile strain used, if Iā€™m not mistaken ā€¦
That being said, Hillsbrad has always had conflict between the humies and the Forsaken :person_shrugging:

  • The Humans had considered them aberations to be wiped out & the Forsaken considered the humans nuisances to be eradicated so they could have free-reign.

Surely enough the Forsaken had taken the measures to finally claim victory, however if it were the other way around with like an upheaval crater of magic ā€“ Iā€™m sure many Alliance would be arguing it was justified / all fair in the eyes of war, etc ā€¦

Allow me to rephrase,
What would you have them do to the Forsaken ā€”

Now*

 ??

  THIS!!

Legit though!!

  • To some extent I sort of feel like that with the Horde & Thrall, and as a result they donā€™t really have too many strong or compellingly enjoyable orc characters :person_shrugging:

As for Jaina & Anduin ā€” I despised how they made Anduin ā€œcorruptedā€ with Death Knight vibes, as I was very much looking forward to his priest side correlate with the void and him be corrupted by that instead :face_exhaling: Anyway ā€¦

Yes!!

Well, I donā€™t recall the Orgrimmar for Alliance part ā€” Mostly, I recall them ā€œCompletely takingā€ Azshara, along with destroying the Horde border between Ashenvale & Barrens and then making the top part of Barrens more foresty, like Ashenvale was spreading into it; restoring the land ā€¦

However the whole ā€˜Alliance Reclaiming Lordaeronā€™ ā†’ was VERY popular.
Thereā€™s still quite a large handful of players that urge for that desire even today :joy:

Luckily that ship has sailed. Blizzard had an opportunity to give Lordaeron to the Alliance in BFA but (rightfully) decided to let the Forsaken keep it (just give me my city back!)

Human Warriors arenā€™t out of the doghouse either. They couldā€™ve made them battlemasters who were experts at tactics and manuevering. Instead theyā€™re just, on par with Orcs who should by all rights smash them in a sheer strength contest.

Varian wishes he was this cool;

See how he uses momentum and strategy to best foes that have him out done in magic, might and mystery? You can make basic knights cool af in fantasy with with much more outwardly fascinating stuff but you have to make them badass by virtue of how mundane they are.

They donā€™t win because they arm wrestled the minotaur they win because they outplanned it. The MoP cinematic probably does this best with the human warrior making a spear because even though he has a sword you probably want to keep Orcs at a distance.

I donā€™t know about that :joy:
Massive amounts of Alliance players will still be passionately requesting it and hold those hopes in their hearts with the whole:

ā€œBUT ONE DAY! ā€¦ā€

ā†’ for the future in years to come :person_shrugging:

Agreed. Anduin wasnā€™t too bad back around Wrath. Back then he seemed, ā€˜wise beyond his years.ā€™ Then came MoP where he was a preachy little turd which has never been rectified.

As for Jaina, I donā€™t think Iā€™d mind her having received spotlight if Blizzard had done it right from the get-go. She was the Alliance counterpart to Thrall from WC3. Itā€™d have made sense for her to fulfill a prominent role in the Alliance. Instead she flip-flopped between peacemonger and warmonger, and when she finally led the Kirin Tor (which she honestly should have from the outset, ruling Dalaran while Theramore became a neutral port in Kalimdor for both factions), it was short-lived so they could turn her into, ā€œWe have Elsa from Frozen at Home,ā€ WoW Edition.
