Your loot spec for that boss is locked either when the boss dies, or when the 1st person loots the boss.
The ironic part is your failure to think this through. You will still be dealing with this, it just won’t be transparent to you.
These same high-level players will just use alts, still carry you, and roll for their transmogs.

that is the way it’s suppose to work, it’s not currently working as such. i expect they to patch it eventually, like them saying you cant loot tier of the same ilvl, but oops it didn’t count tier from vault.
Interesting, because the time’s I’ve tried to do that for testing purposes it still classified my roll as off-spec.
the post legit talks about a 408 heroic tier gloves drop versus the dude wearing 408 M+ vault tier, who won the roll, and you decided to try and twist the conversation into needing on people’s player power drops in LFR.

I just think you are a liar and I don’t think this really happened. I think you actually are just crying about something that happened in LFR.
But it’s a pug. Maybe he wanted to Sim them but instead got so annoyed, decided to stick it to everyone. Or maybe his plan all along was to DE it. You can do whatever you want in a pug.
If you don’t like how pugs roll, stop rolling in a pug.
The tier pieces, not matter how you obtain them, have the same secondary stats, his was upgradable since it was from M+, at the exact ilvl from the one from heroic raid.
Blizzard is fixing it so Tier obtained from vault will stop them from obtaining raid tier that isn’t an upgrade, i posted this before i knew of the in-coming fix, but the obvious answer was complaining as it’s not a good idea to just suggest people stop pugging as that’s how a good amount of the player base obtains their upgrades if they’re unable to find a guild that fits their schedule.

There are like 20 different heroic pug groups up at any time, you can find my 2.5k under my feats in my profile if you armory since feats i believe are accountwide even if i don’t link my main, i have no idea why anyone would doubt a heroic pug or a any difficult pug caused loot drama.
im not one of the people who were toxic to this hunter, i was just annoyed enough to make a post here since i blame the loot system, again before i knew of the coming fix, which still only makes me mildly more content since i still believe this loot system causes more conflict in pugs

Personally I find the new raid loot system to be needlessly complicated, time consuming and kind of frustrating. Waiting for everyone to vote and if someone had to go afk for a RL issue it just holds everything up pointlessly. It certainly isn’t more fair.
The only thing wrong with the previous personal loot system of SL/BfA was not allowing trades on gear. Too many drops were item level “upgrades” but stat downgrades weren’t tradeable to people that actually needed the gear. Had blizz removed that restriction, it would have been perfect.

Its not true at all though. PL and group loot are fundamentally different. You are a part of a small minority that thinks so.
“Small minority”, you got some numbers on that? PL the need roll was forced and hidden. GL the need roll is open and optional. The end results are the same assuming everyone rolls need.
I notice that no matter what the issue is, there is always a group of folks that defend the choice.
- No flight? People call you lazy for wanting it.
- LFR ? People call you lazy for wanting it
Not gonna list everything, but the point is clear. I bet if Blizzard brought back ammo for hunters, or removed mass loot, folks would still say it’s a good change and you are lazy for wanting it.

Well i would like to assume that only a small minority of players are dumb enough to think Group Loot is the same as personal loot but hey i could be wrong, people could be that dumb. Want to remind you they explored Group Loot in LFR Cataclysm and say the problems with it which is why it was switched to personal loot in MoP.
