Not my fault you pay for things you don’t like.
If you don’t unsub from the game you are telling Blizzard you are OK with the GDKP ban.
Just FYI.

This kid is, cherry picking partial quotes as needed, running up and down the thread pretending to correct everyone. It’s so cute watching people pretend to be smarter.
I think I hurt your feelings in another thread, hence you pouting and resorting to calling me kid to boost your own ego and importance over a sub human like me. It’s so easy to see once you know these habits
You dont want to play the game, you want to buy gear and pretend you won it. Youre bad at the game and most likely buy gold just like very other pay to win tools. Stick to gotcha games on your phone.
I think I will keep clicking on the hidden replies for now, friend I couldn’t care less what you think of me, has no effect on my feelings. But seriously thanks for the laughs. I honestly can’t tell whether you’re laughing as you type or if you really mean this stuff. Either way it’s making me smile a lot.
Man the things you guys say is wild.
How did he get the gear to drop?
You mean they formed a raid, killed the boss and had to deal with loot RNG just like any other loot method?
Are you dumb?
I don’t believe you therefore you’re gaslighting me.
Sincerely, a gaslighter.
Having been there, I can attest that GDKP was common in WotLK, and gold sellers spamming openly in chat. But GDKP declined as patches progressed, and less people were willing to do them. At some point, Classic purists will have to accept that some of the changes over time were made for good reason. Add the Token to Anniversary. That’s the only answer.
There’s nothing wrong with GDKP, at all.
Its a good way to make a lot of gold if you’re coming in as a carry - paying for raid consumes, epic mounts and what not can get expensive (Although somehow this doesn’t entice people to seek RMT…?)
It’s a good way to gear up a fresh 60 or to ensure you get that one final piece you’ve constantly been unable to get. It feels good sometimes to score a really nice item for a lower bid, like 50g for a really strong epic.
They have a totally different feel than the traditional weird raiding structure. People being carried are expected to pay, unlike a regular guild raid where there will be drama and dead weight, without a doubt. People being carried will be fed gear, consumes, gold etc. because they’re probably buddies with the guild leader. This does not happen in GDKP. Everyone gets a fair cut every time.
Example: Ever see a new recruitment to the guild (mage with like 300 dps in MC…) get azuresong mageblade first run and you’ve been trying to get it for months? or a terrible hunter get ancient leaf and then doesnt have the skills to get the bow, then quits the game?
If people think banning them stops RMT and botting, they’re delusional. RMT and botting isnt going anywhere. It’s like we pretend the game doesn’t have an auction house with extremely powerful items. Lionheart helm anyone? Flasks? etc. Hmmm and they’re purchased with…gold?!
The only people that oppose GDKP are the “you aren’t playing the game the way I think you should and now I’m going to cry about it” crowd or people who are just flat broke.
“It encourages RMT!” The entire premise of online gaming with an economy, currency and auction house is enough to lure people to RMT.
Just like in real life, if people see someone successful in the public eye they will become envious and try to tear them down.
No token in classic, what are you talking about? Go play retail man, its already been ruined
good god, you’re right
they’re banning gdkps to encourage MORE botting, not less
this is unconscionable, blizzard
Jesus dude we get it. You want to buy your gear.
I swear I saw literally the same post from salty multiboxers after the ban. You don’t want to face reality so you cast around for some explanation that will feed your feelings of hurt and being upset.
GDKPs
Yes, other drivers for botting and inflation exist but GDKPs are a powerful driver and blizz has chosen to ban them for the anniversary realms.
Yes, that is funded by swiping. Get over it my friend. Hurling insults at people who are against swiping and pretending they have some other sinister motive isnt going to help you, unless is just makes you feel better to hurl insults.
I’m sorry that Blizzard nerfed swiping for you. Have a nice day, friend!
poor people (little kids who don’t get daddy’s money [except theyve convinced daddy to pay 15$/month]) don’t benefit from gdkps.
They are also too lazy to host their own and get rich.
these types complain because they want to bring everyone down to their level.
That’s about the only reason.
Should have read at least this before opening your mouth:
GDKP banned to stop RMT yet Anniversary Fresh has been the largest collection of swipers (sorry, ZF farmers) I’ve seen to date lol.
TBH blizzard should have released 2x type of 20 anniversary servers
type1 what we have (pvp/pve/hardcore) where gdkp is banned
type2 a server that they allow gdkp.
and people are free to pick the server they wish to be in, i don’t see a problem if people decide the way of game play they like.
…with in game gold, yes. Never have used RMT.
You just join GDKPs and take away part of the pot. Let others do the swiping for you.
GDKPs are little more than gold laundering operations, whether they’re organized by legit players or not.
