Then that’s all that needs be done.
Best of luck with the drop.

"They either greatly nerfed the drop rate of this item (1% or even lower) at some point or there really is a bug that is preventing it from dropping.
65 Kills so far and the blueprint - with a supposed drop of rate of ~27% has not yet dropped. Meanwhile, I have gotten four punch cards (one at 23rd, 24th, 47th, 52nd kill respectively) which supposedly only have a chance to drop of 0.9%. I know random is random and all that but given that the punch cards remain somewhat rare (as indicated by the calculated drop rate on Wowhead) while the blueprint has become extremely elusive it feels like something certainly changed."
Even if 26% is higher than most drops, that’s still a 74% chance for it not to drop. Dungeon and raid loot is determined the second you walk in. So each and every time you load in, there’s a 74% chance you don’t get it.
RNG is RNG.
Please, stop being condescending. I do this for a living. And now there’s another person on the bug report forum stating the same thing. And five people on wowhead. All since October. You’re telling me that’s not a coincidence and “RNG is RNG”?
please…
Yes. Until Blizzard says otherwise.
And CS won’t know if it is until the devs tell them so.
So either keep discussing it on on the Bug Report forum until Blizzard acknowledges it in hotfix or patch notes or the Known Issues thread… or tweet at the WoW devs.
Which I said I’ve done, so you can drop it now.
Then what is it you’re looking for here? Why did you post in Customer Support?
Did you read the thread at all, or are you just arguing?
See, given your chosen attitude here the whole time, I interpreted that differently.
Again, though, good luck with the drop.
How is this relevant? I’m not asking for a hint. I know exactly what mob drops the item, but SINCE OCTOBER the item hasn’t dropped for ANYONE.
Seems pretty relevant.
When the Murmur toy wasn’t dropping, we all put in bug reports until Blizzard finally fixed it. Same issue here. Something changed since October.
You are asking if the drop-rate is what it’s supposed to be, and if the item still drops because you haven’t seen anyone post that it has. Those would be considered game hints, as mentioned in Vrakthris’ reply in that thread.
Yes. Filing bug reports gets it addressed. Bug reports are triaged. Current content over older content. Game-breaking bugs and exploits over other issues. With the major bugs and exploits that appeared once Dragonflight launched, the drop of a item from two expansions ago currently may not be a high priority.
Where did I ask what the drop rate is supposed to be? Please quote me.
I asked Blizzard to CHECK IT. Not check it and get back to me.
Example:
“People are reporting a problem with Caustic Mechasline. Huh, 22,000 people killed Caustic Mechaslime since October and nobody looted the blueprint. That’s a 0% drop rate. Let’s check the statistics on that and see if that’s working as intended”
I never said you asked “what the drop rate is supposed to be.” I said you asked “if the drop-rate is what it’s supposed to be.” It’s right there in the title of this thread.
The only way to get Blizzard to check it is to file a bug report, which you said you did. Customer Support and the SFAs are not liaisons with QA and Devs. They can not pass a message on about drop-rates.
Except that most of the time players only hear from others who it hasn’t dropped for yet. If you didn’t have a problem getting it you wouldn’t be on a page that is reporting it isn’t dropping. It only appears to be a 0% drop rate to the players it isn’t dropping for.
There was a mount that some players insisted wasn’t dropping any more but Blizzard confirmed it had dropped in the time-frame mentioned by the poster.
Yeah, and? Did I ask Blizzard to TELL ME what the drop rate is, or just check it for bugs?
Yeah, well, I wasn’t the one who perpetuated this thread. It’s the people that misunderstood the point that did.
I never said you did. The mount I mentioned, Blizzard never said the drop-rate was correct, just that it had dropped.
