Well other people seem to think that’s what I was asking. I didn’t complain about the hundreds of times I had to try to get Invincible because I knew the drop rate was low, but the drop rate for the blueprint here is not supposed to be that low, and the fact that nobody’s looted it since the pre-patch is VERY suspicious.
Checking them or asking what they are, they’re just about the same so it’s splitting hairs. None of us know this information, we’re your fellow players and we only have what information you’re posting here. You were the one who made the post, you’re the one who is inquiring about drop rates - whether you’'re asking for the specific drop percentage or if it still drops at all.
You’ve been given the correct information. GMs cannot help you with this, it falls wholly in the hands of the Devs - whether it’s a bug or it isn’t. Tickets are the only way to reach a GM, but GMs have nothing to do with bugs or anything of that sort. Devs, you cannot speak with outside of posting to the Bug Report forum or tweeting @WarcraftDevs. The latter being the only place the Devs interact with players.
I’m sorry this has been such a mess for you. Hopefully, it is just really bad RNG and that it will drop for you in the days to come. All the best to you.
The only mess has been the misunderstandings of the people that don’t understand what I’m asking.
I’m asking Blizz to just check something and make sure it’s correct. That’s it. 42 responses because people think I’m asking for something else.
Insane.
I’m not watching this thread anymore. My faith in humanity is shot for the day.
Volyska - asking questions about drop likelihood always gets a bit spicy in this forum for a variety of reasons, in part because it isn’t obvious to most whether something is rng complaining or more likely the item actually not dropping… but nobody is misunderstanding what you’re asking.
there isn’t a straightforward way to just ask a gm to check something and make sure it’s correct. it is still considered a game hint.
seldomly, a gm will confirm it’s dropping, same for tweeting at devs. if it becomes a known issue they may tell you that. however, a bug report is how it will ultimately be fixed at the end of the day. imo it’s pretty obvious it is broken, but all you can do is submit your report and check wowhead to see if anyone reports getting it again.
Just for future reference to avoid all this pointless arguing u can edit ur post and move it to the bugvforums.
Blizard will not give you an answer to this. They will not even say if it can still drop or not and they will not say okay we will check for you. That will never happen. So all this asking will get you nothing.
Best to look at wowhead for what other people wrote.
They have done this in the past. But you are right, most of the time the information comes from other players.
Hi - my experience with this drop rate has been the same. I submitted a ticket and the person said the item is still on the loot table which I think is as much as they will tell me. So I’m submitting bug reports every day now. That’s all I can do, I guess. It sucks. I also have been not playing dragonflight because I desperately want to finish this achievement.
This is so dumb. It is clearly not dropping.
Or it is 0.0001% lol
So frustrating
What was that, Vorsol?
You could have just said “Blizzard has acknowledged that it isn’t dropping at the moment” without taunting other players.
That article shows that filing bug reports does get issues looked at. Hopefully they will find a fix for it quickly.
Not taunting, just educating people that Blizzard DOES give answers at times. There’s nothing I despise more than forum jockeys who think they have all the right answers and bully others.
Also, “Best to look at wowhead” is bad advice because:
- People there are saying the same thing for months.
- He’s not telling people the right course of action which is to submit bug reports.
Majority of the time they do not answer questions like this! So most of the time a ticket to ask can be a waste of time. Last thing anyone needs is a I told you so post!
No, the last thing anyone needs is false information.
When you say “majority of the time”, that doesn’t mean anything because you have no quantitative data to back that up. If people are saying that the handholds aren’t working on the daily, you know damn well that Blizz is looking into it. But if it’s a user issue like “Where did my Frostbolt icon go?”, you’re not going to get an answer about that because the user probably moved it.
So anyway, try and be more accurate and helpful with your answer next time instead of knocking people down.
It dropped today. They fixed it this week. So I finally got Mecha-Done…done.
