Can’t help anyone with low level dungeons

Yes! Yes! They should all be like us! We are all free thinkers! One of us! One of us!

Still waiting on that poll…

We don’t know the exact numbers but it’s a fairly heavy majority who prefer RDF.

For one that it isn’t an authentic Wrath experience. Secondly it already used to reduce your exp gains based on levels. It didn’t need to be reduced by 90% as it is excessive. This change does nothing but punishes legitimate players for what used to be completely normal gameplay.

Not sure what Gen Z people have to do with anything as they likely have a very tiny representation of Classic players.

RDF is specifically for dungeons by the way. What are you talking about in regards to “welfare epics”. The epic gear in heroic dungeons is already considered bad so what difference does it make if forming the group to do the dungeon is marginally less annoying? You still have to do the dungeon afterward and then your rewards are already obsolete gear and will only get worse by phase 2.

With respect, that sentence makes no sense. ‘We don’t know the numbers but I know the numbers.’

Several polls were done and the results were anywhere from 70%-85% in support of RDF. That’s a number, but not an exact number. Plus it is not 100% of the playerbase, but that is just how polls go. If it is a sufficiently large sample size it is a pretty good representation of the whole.

I am aware what RDF stands for. I am referring to the 3 dungeons in ICC that help players catch up ilvl to what everyone else has been raiding for the entire xpac. That loot is referred to as welfare epics.

It is very Alt friendly, but toxic to the community. You don’t work for it, you run dungeons. What about lo lockouts you say, no lockouts in RDF. Just run till I have every slot filled.

Hence gear is trivialized.

And those that feel that way about RDF are referred to as Boomers by the trolls in these forums.

I hope that explains it well enough.

I agree. The problem is the highlighted part. Size alone does not an authoritative poll make, and there is no reason to believe any of the RDF polls capture an accurate sample of the demographics. See:

Is it in your believe that forum / reddit goers have a skewed representation of RDF supporters? I can’t imagine why that would be, but I’d still love a poll from Blizzard that includes all players. I think the results are pretty obvious, but may as well check anyway.

It’s pretty simple, really, and I outlined it earlier. I’ll pose the same question to you:

These dungeons will exist with or without RDF so that doesn’t change anything. Blizzard when designing Wrath were clearly in favor of these catch up mechanics so your gatekeeping mentality is rather silly here.

RDF does have lock outs, you have to run every single dungeon before you can rerun one you’re locked to.

People go to Reddit and the forums for reasons other than specifically seeking out polls. That is just something that is happened upon as a secondary happenstance. For your analogy to make sense here these forums would have to be the RDF forums rather than the Wrath of the Lich King forums.

That’s not an argument.

True, but regardless it goes to demonstrate how these polls are susceptible to manipulation by issues-motivated people.

How’s that poll going that you said you’d manipulate?

Again Bottom line- Whenever it is introduced Gear will be trivialized - and Toxicity will worsen.

You’re right it’s simply a correction of your erroneous statement.

There is no error . There are no lockouts, but nice try.
