Can’t help anyone with low level dungeons

I swear people who think everything is a conspiracy and nothing shady ever happens are prime to be exploited and they don’t even know it, we need more free thinkers and less followers.

Fits the definition, in that you aren’t attacking any of the arguments presented but instead are making childish insults and dismissive statements instead of in any way backing up your stance or point

Never attribute to malice what can be attributed to incompetence.

You could be right, it’s certainly plausible. It’s just not likely.

Grandpa isn’t an insult, it means you’re smart and wise.

Why would it not be likely?

Because there are simpler solutions with fewer assumptions.

And I’m very sure you meant it as a glowing compliment lmao.

Such as?

Of course, I’d never insult you

Sarcasm is also a deflection tactic when you have nothing tangible to put forth.

Why would I be sarcastic?

That Blizzard is trying (unsuccessfully) to strike a balance between old and new demographics; that Blizzard doesn’t understand what made original WoW ‘good’ and is inadvertently undermining it by introducing changes; that this is a 15 year old game and the old-school MMORPG style isn’t competitively sustainable in the contemporary market so the project is inherently doomed; that the demographics on this forum don’t reflect the broader tenor of WoW players and is a disproportionate echo chamber; etc.

To name a few.

So what does that have to do with them killing off gold boosts to sell their own RMT boosts?

Because the game’s state being what it is due to market factors is more likely than the game’s state being a result of a conspiracy by high-ranking Blizzard executives.

Everyone wanted RDF, almost every poll and YT/Twitch personality vouched for it including thousands of Reddit posts and forum posts.

The market wanted RDF, on top of gold dungeon boosting nerfs we had a core part of Wrath also removed which led to the entire leveling process dying on every server.

This is not something that happened because no one wants to play Wrath in 2022, there was a concentrated effort to prevent people from leveling in order to sell boosts.

These conspiracy theorists are all the same. Somehow Blizz/the government etc are always completely inept… but simultaneously also capable of enacting grand conspiracies involving dozens or hundreds of people without ever letting anyone slip.

Mmmmm peaches. Yummy peaches.

Both can be true at the same time, people thought the patriot act after 9/11 was government ineptitude and said “if you have nothing to hide why are you scared?” Until Snowden blew the cover and revealed all the data mongering, spying and illegal activities that led to.

Just because you’re too daft to understand the real world doesn’t mean smart people aren’t actively manipulating you.

No, they didn’t. The sampling was wrong. We don’t know what proportion of WoW players want(ed) RDF.

Now that’s a conspiracy theory, because I did my own research and had a large thread sampling over 500 search results from various Reddit threads to forum polls to YouTube videos and there are but a handful of anti-RDF sentiments compared to an overwhelming amount of pro-RDF.

You just proved my point. They tried to get away with a relatively minor conspiracy and it still got blown up in a matter of years.

Checkmate. You lose

I don’t dispute that lots of people want RDF.

I contend that none of the player-led surveys had an appropriate sample and therefore do not represent the entire WoW community.
