Calling it Body 1 & Body 2 feels objectifying

I’d much rather them focus their time on fixing bugs/ensuring server stability for both DF and Wrath classic. other than a “click” that you’re literally going to forget about when you start playing. You aren’t going to get to level 70/80 and all of a sudden be like “oh right, I’m body type 1, i should use this armor”.

There’s no “dude” here. Youre wrong. Get over it. Move on. Goodbye.

No, they want more.

You don’t need to tell me to stop doing something I wasn’t doing. I was spotlighting the hypocritical nature of it, not victimizing myself.

Yeah, so why’s everyone else who’s LGBTQ+ want this with everything?

This is nonsense. The only place you will see Body 1 and Body 2 is when you are rolling a new toon and even then it’s only one click.

If this impacts you at all in a negative way I would recommend therapy.

Dude, there is a dude.

The WotLK Classic change just further proves this has nothing to do with Dracthyr. Look, you can be for the change all you want, but don’t try to gaslight what this is about. It’s just gender activism from California. Let’s not kid ourselves.

What are even talking about? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

You literally play victim in every thread you make.

Why do you care? Stop worrying about an icon during character creation and just make whatever you want and get over it.

Video Games are art and like art tend to be political like Fallout is a criticism of Capitalism and parodies the red scare like the intro to fallout 4 makes it pretty clear.

Also Fallout spoilers

Spoilers One of the biggest unanswered questions in Fallout is who launched the first bomb a question that has never recieved a confirmed 100% canon answer however lore in game tends to suggest that it was in fact neither America or China but a greedy and extremely powerful corporation Vault Tec who launched the first bomb

“I’m upset about the gender categories we’re put into as Male or Female, I just want more neutrality for my character and my identity :disappointed_relieved:

An exact reply to this:

Aren’t you clever.

It’s going to depend on the person you ask. For me, I didn’t ask for it but I’m not against it. I probably would have never noticed if I didn’t visit the forums lol

And Frost Punk is a warning about Climate Change.

But not all games are hyper political or even have deep social commentary. Like Super Mario Bros. is just a silly platformer.

I didn’t ask for it either, though I wasn’t against it as well. The factor of seeing posts on this forum talking about wanting Blizzard to include this with all the races is what started bothering me and building up over time.

Truth be told, I wish I was more addicted to the game itself rather than the forum.

Heroes stand for something righteous, you my friend are a hero

So they dont even say “body tyoe 1 and 2.” They don’t in retail either. Its just icons.

So people are playing outrage for no reason. LOL

As for the spell tooltip, i honestly never noticed that. So nothing has changed except icons that say nothing.

I also am addicted to the forums! People on here are often funny. I also like the game but it feels like nobody talks on there anymore which is the whole reason I’m doing an MMO.

You still see them categorized under “Body Type” written above the icons.

Not having human rights for example in NSW Australia where I’m from I’m expected to go through an expensive and invasive surgery just to be recognised as my correct gender legally which is a violation of right to private autonomy and something cis people don’t have to do what else?

No it wasn’t

They shouldn’t as they’re being applied to an ingame character not to you

Who the hell cares???

NOTHING CHANGED BUT AN ICON.

My god you people will fake outrage over anything.

IDC if it’s called “Body Type 1” nor “Body Type 2”. I find it lazy pandering to appear to be “gender neutral”, but the body types still have their old pronoun usage, in the tooltips, so it renders the point of the body type gender neutralness moot.

As “Body Type 1” is still locked into “he” pronouns, while “Body Type 2” is still locked into “her” pronouns.

If it’s for no reason, why was it changed in the first place ?

If it’s so pointless, what would be the harm in reverting it to the old one ?
