blizzard telling us that there are only 2 body types really makes me want to seek professional help. because my body looks nothing like the 2 body types they are presenting to me and i cannot relate to them. i feel insulted that they are only saying there are 2 body types. very objectifying.
As far as I saw in Classic, they had it in Vanilla. However even today this doesn’t change pronoun/title usage in-game whatsoever.
If there is any change such as picking pronouns in-game like Blizzard seems to have stated, then they better have a plan for titles. I saw someone mention how pronouns were still used in the tooltips for Classic DK, this has since been removed.
But ‘pronouns’ have still remained within NPC dialogue to this day such as this quest I did in Draenor just the other day on my Druid alt:

I mean if the community wants to crack down on Blizzard about pronouns, then the lore of a kid not even understanding this at all… well I don’t even know what I would do about that personally if I was Blizzard.

You know they removed these labels right?
Because a male Dragon in a fantasy game using magic to instantly shift into a female form that can just as easily be literally anything else in a second at any time, anywhere, is equaled to the hardships, obstacles and surgical procedures of a MTF transition.
And thereby is suddenly “officially” transgender. You know Dragons use all kinds of forms for disguises and many other means/reasons too right?

It’s very odd how playing a videogame that changed its character description from male/female symbols to “Body 1” and “Body 2” has changed you from a person who knows what gender you identify with to one who no longer has any idea what gender is.
Very strange. Are you for real? And I only ask this question when the answer might be “no”.

Perhaps you normally diagnose people who disagree with you with mental illnesses routinely, seeing as you are unqualified and therefore think you are an expert at that. I don’t.
This is a topic that has had a great many troll threads. Each tries to pretend they have created a unique take on the flamebait topic of the month, while saying nothing creative or unique, just trying to shoehorn extremist politics into the game in an effort to reframe reality to suit your small minded point of view.
If you don’t want to get called out for starting troll threads, especially on dead horse topics that have been smeared into the ground, don’t do it?

It was taken down by forum staff on the assumption it was one of the trolls but I made a ticket and discussed it where it was deemed the take-down was unnecessary and it was returned today.
So trying to argue that it’s a troll thread when staff and I discussed this in tickets and it was assured to not be such makes your claim/assumption/strawman argument invalid.
It doesn’t matter if it has been made clear that she uses she/her pronouns.

I don’t understand why everybody is so over the top about the pronoun usage. Chromie himself refers to himself still by a male name and there’s a joke that Chromie states in Heroes of Storm about it not being a male name making the gag that “You clearly don’t understand the intricacies of dragon culture.” when that literally is one of the most set-in intricacies of Dragon culture, hence why it is a joke.
Chromie/Chronormu never said you couldn’t refer to him with male pronouns or that he didn’t like it, or that he only ever went by female pronouns. He didn’t say this, Blizzard did objectively, which could be for player convenience to prevent confusion given any references to the character in dialogue.
Keeping things consistent like that is just a psychological trope for developers.

Literally… you just spotlighted the very reason WHY he is referred to as a she. He is always in a female visage, do you know how damn weird it would be to refer to him with male pronouns when he’s going about in his female Chromie avatar?
Sorry, but a visage is just a magical appearance that Dragons take. Until there’s any canonical evidence that he has altered his own biology as a Dragon with the 4,000 different types of magic on Azeroth, there’s no transition here at all. So given how easy it is to perform but there’s no canonical source saying he’s done it, there is no dysphoria, there is no bother with it.
That is not transgender. At the least that is gender fluid.
This kind of logic can lead us down some very incredibly stupid roads.
