Calling it Body 1 & Body 2 feels objectifying

Did you seriously unignore them just to argue with them to make a point? LOL

I only ignore for short durations (theirs fell off a few days ago), because I choose to give people the benefit of having constructive conversations later. It is called respect and maturity. I suggest you learn it. Good riddance to you.

I give plenty of people chances and benefits of the doubt, until they blow it. I can only forgive so much. If they don’t plan on changing, anytime soon, doubt they ever will.

Nice, character attacking, now. Not to mention projection.

Likewise. Have the last word, if you must. It’s unfortunate we share the same server, but it depends if you’re playing perma Vanilla Classic or Wrath Classic. As I play the former. Don’t have to worry about me on Wrath Classic. I’ll be sure to block there (perma Vanilla Classic), too.

Happy Sunday.

Seems like a well written post to me. What’s wrong with it? Just because they have an opinion, doesn’t make it a troll or bait post. People just want to be heard and want equality back. Taking away equality for inclusion isn’t right. And dismissing the OP is only going to make the problem worse when people see and know how 1 sided the issue is. “It’s okay for this group to be offended/upset, so we need to change things for inclusion. Oh what group is now upset? Their feelings don’t matter” is basically what ignoring posts like OP’s is saying.

For now, it’s comical, for me. I await the day, when I no longer find it funny, anymore. Until then, I’m amused :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello, I see you posted a thread about bodies. I’m just hoping I’m still able to be a boy! Blizzard, please don’t make me something else!

Thanks for your post and have a great day!

Oh the irony… Loooool…

People who fret over things like Body 1 and Body 2 apparently don’t have enough in their life to worry about.

My mind has now officially associated Body Type threads with the song by Drowning Pool

Likewise to those who make snarky comments regarding things that feel “mundane” but still take the time to contribute to such “mundane” topics.

They literally do call it body 1 and body 2.

Not objectifying, but calling it Body 1, Body 2 does imply valuation and hierarchy. Body 1, Body A would be better.

This was how the two casts / crews were designated for public productions, where I was at a school for the arts.

Since students would be listing roles on their CV or college applications, the school was sensitive to the implication that either cast were subordinate where in fact that was not the case.

Do I think that is necessary here? Not really. But it could be more tactful. Certainly it reveals one as the default, the other as the option.

Shoutout to the artist who designed the Dracthyr hair. They deserve a raise.

Not having male and female feels exclusionary, why didn’t they just add body type 1 and 2 and leave male and female

“Body Type 1 and Body Type 2 feel exclusionary.”

“There’s always been labels in the game, you’ve just never noticed until now because it fits your agenda to be angry.”

Oh no, not you, too :frowning:

Me too. I will admit that I find this argument a little silly. I find them to just be buttons.

I don’t agree that it’s “exclusionary”, however if they were “just buttons” why change it, in the first place? This is (mostly) for Wrath Classic. As I’ve shown the “two gender” system to still exist in the tooltip with the use of “he” and “her” pronouns.

But, I mean, they’re “just words”, right?
