Buy out Blizzard from Activision

Ok bethesda doesn’t own swtor, thats bioware. Don’t know why i got the two mixed up. But microsoft did get their hands on 2 mmorpgs. Elderscrolls online and fallout 76.

I thought EA had the exclusive rights?

To starwars brand but not to the mmorpg game.

Can’t say I’d trust a blue CM we hardly see on these forums.

He isn’t a CM.

Whatever.

In Blizzards pocket.

blue posters have to post what the higher ups want them to post or they get silenced / fired / moved. Just like every other blue cm that has talked to the community and tried their best at being a decent person.

Nice conspiracy theory.

Conspiracy?

More like your here to work and not misrepresent company interests.

If I had the money I would but choices like that are probably the reason I don’t have the money

Why is it a conspiracy theory lol? Have you seen any blue posts respond commonly with passionate care for the playerbase, have you seen any blue poster try to work with the community on feedback? Or do you see them once in a blue moon that post something that the company wants their audience to know and not hear from them for awhile again?

might be good if they had an activist investor make them split the companys

Yes, in the CS forum.

oh i’m sure the paladin and shaman community would highly agree with you then. Cause Ret and holy being trashed, or elemental reverted back to normal after promising so many great things.

Be VERY careful what you wish for. Remember that Blizzard was stuck under Vivaldi at a time when it was very conceivable that Vivaldi could have milked them for every last time.

As much as everyone hates on Kotick, justifiably, he is the architect who managed to pull Activision-Blizzard out from under that flaming garbage pile. So credit where credit’s due.

When companies get bought up, there are some nasty shake ups throughout the ranks, and it WOULD have an impact on development. Or they buy it for the IP, and completely trash it for every penny they can.

Sometimes better the devil you know.

Call me a pessimist when it comes to the Microsoft Zenimax purchase. As if we needed any more proof that corporate folks cannot make a solid game. If they do it’s a complete accident. Games like AoE and Halo are rarities in dozens of failures.

I don’t expect much anymore which is sad as Fallout is one of my favorite titles. They will continue to dumb the series down, streamline the controls for console controllers and make the dialogue pathetic by comparison to the earlier titles. Just like Blizzard is doing to their IPs.

Corporate takeovers typically end badly.

why are the devs under paid for being in california? Why did they fire so many people, why haven’t they released any new ip’s? Why did they purposely kill off Heroes of the storm?
