Yeah exactly, 8.2 is broken shore - time gated pathfinder part 2, I’ve heard plenty we can fly in 8.2 and previous zones, nothing has been said about 8.3 - so my assumption based on previous expansions holds true I would say.

I have to agree ,since this isn’t the last patch of the expanse.And the storys’ end has not been seen
to be honest my guess would be despite him saying ‘from here on out in BfA’ there will be a take-back and the end game zone will be grounded like so many end game zones in the previous expansions. I really hope it isn’t, but I’m not holding my breath huh

I just really like the Darkshore Warfront hunter set.
Would that mean the water strider gets water walking + other mount equipment? I think the goal is to make it so people are using other mounts beside water strider and equipment does that, if they let water strider have more than one it would just become the mainly used mount again.

Blizzard is partly to blame for this mindset. Look at what they have done to BFA? Everyone must all get the same stuff, even if they do not put in the work. Heck, thanks to tokens, people can just buy their AOTC and IO scores.

Folks are actually not asking for that.
What we want is to see the strider keep its innate water-walking, but not allow it to use mount equipment.
Exactly like the sky golem, which you already see far more of anyway.

They figured out it would be simpler to have people grind to unlock gear for their mounts now as well!

Because the strider has been heavily overused and it is in the way of players working on other mounts. This is both what Bliz said and, honestly, the flat out truth of my experience with mounts for 7 years.
In 8.2, I’m going to actually grab some new mounts - hasn’t happened since strider 7 years ago. And Nazmir seemed designed to heavily punish anyone without a strider, so it actually got worse over the last year.
yeah but they made that same promise for legion and right out of left field here came Argus a no flight end game zone and we have no doubt they have another .3 patch zone for end of BFA which wont give us flying

ONLY do you see an abundance of them on water.
Everywhere else they’re no more (maybe a bit less) popular than any other mount.
Off-water, you see more sky golems than any other type.

Simple we used it to much it was to useful so by blizzard standards it had to go …

at no time in that did he EVER say we wouldn’t be able to fly nor did he mention argus as a no fly zone it was right before it was set to be patched in did they reveal the no flight plan for it going back on the very promise ALL of legion would include flying
