Burning of Teldrassil is Narrative Poison

I have been the subject of Ren’s “terrible” behavior for a long, long time. Probably more than anyone here and multiple people joined in too.

So coming from me this might have some value but, there is no need to stir up drama when for once we have the thread on topic again. Its not very constructive.

It’s Ren! It’s Ren! yes everyone already knows I am a member of the lore forum discord. You might know that if you were not banned from there.

I don’t know if you remember this or not but around July I told the SF Lounge that my sub on Ren was ending and in a conversation with Benedikt i told the forums I was planning on creating a new account to do achieves on until DF.

You keep tying to “out” me in vain, I was never trying to conceal my identity.

I thought you might have actually agreed with them and that I was attacking Drah. I didn’t really feel like I was. I don’t have any ill will towards her.

Not at all. Drah does bring up a lot of good points. Just has her own way of doing so. I don’t hold that against them

that’s cap.

You said to me in private you dislike them because they say “dumb things. and you don’t understand them.”

You have an agenda against her because she’s a NE who doesn’t agree with NE posters like Ethriel and Kyalin. They may not still be here, but they have a little BE forum patsy to make sure Drahalina is always disresepcted.

Kyalin still rants on Twitter daily that Drahalina mains a Blood Elf and thus they are not a real NE poster. You don’t realize that you too are prone to bad forum behavior, you just don’t take accountability for it when yo do it. Whereas I have apologized for trolling on Luxio many times (although in my defense it wasn’t trolling I was just a NE main who liked Sylvanas in BFA-which I realize now too late, was taboo)

thanks Smallioz, i like you too.

Sigh Just stop. Learn to move on. I sure as hell have.

yeah, I’m not leaving just because a wishy washy “friend” decided to burn bridges with me. So, maybe you should just accept i am here to stay.

I don’t need “friends” here, it’s a lore story forum, not Find-a-friend.

I’m going to give the same advice that Baal gives people. Don’t like me? Keep my name out of your mouth and thoughts.

Go find a therapist if you want someone to pretend they care

I would suggest putting them on ignore, and if you ever get tempted to read it, not take the bait if they talk about you. It’s what I’m now trying to do.

It’s just sad. Like, I’m not even mad. But people need to stop blaming me for their toxic behavior. And I’m not even going to touch the accusations she made against me and others, because they’re frankly not worth my time.

If they want to live a sad existence, that’s on them. Just leave me alone

Them making an offscreen peace treaty to make the Horde the aggressors makes Thrall seem so stupid.

Because I could picture Garrosh seeming like a sensible choice if the Horde was at war. In the Trial of the Crusader the only one who matches Varian’s attitude is Garrosh. He’d be a warrior king to fight a warrior king.

But instead it comes off like Thrall giving his black sheep nephew a job in the hopes it’ll teach the troubled boy the value of responsibility.

Only instead of like a landscaping or retail gig, he makes him Emperor For Life. For no apparent reason. To the open contempt of all his allies.

Garrosh’s dad fixed something he broke, so obviously Thrall was entirely reasonable to trust the formerly despondent, now cranky Garrosh. Surely he wouldn’t do everything with hyperbole levels of flourish?*

If they’d played up that Garrosh was older than Thrall and done a bit more with Thrall’s idealization of the Mag’har, it might have been a bit more reasonable.

*Dear readers: he would.

It’s not narrative poison… it’s the Godwin trigger for this forum. As soon as the subject is brought up in a thread for any reason, that thread is going downhill as fast as a freight elevator with it’s cables clipped.

Literally anywhere where people discuss the lore. This includes trade chat.

If talking about Teldrassil is a Godwin trigger, does that mean the Horde needs to be punished?

I dunno I’ve mostly seen trade chat discuss irl politics lately >.>

Haven’t seen people still complaining about Teldrassil outside of this particular bubble. And r/warcraftlore is just the same little bubble with the same people in it.

I rest my case. Playing BFA Hordeside was more than ample punishment.

I was only asking questions.

How was Bfa worse for Horde than Alliance?

BfA was pretty soul crushing for both sides. For different reasons. Don’t really think one side had it worse when both had it bad
