Doesn’t missing this 60 day old pinned announcement that was posted on many gamer publication websites mainly because you “weren’t active” make you guys the trolls. Maybe spend less time under bridges.
@Kaivax, while we mere players don’t have access to the DAW numbers, we do look at ironforge.pro and the logged raids. Old Blanchy is now down to 422 raiders, with the other PVE-West realms Myzreal (571) and Azuresong (831) not far behind.
Since it is after Aug 9th, is there likely to be any FCT to the smallest Normal realms before Pre-patch (Aug 30th)?

easy to fix. Back when WoW wasn’t the old man it is now they would often open free transfer from a specific server to another that is empty. With the huge thing for WOTLK being the open world pvp of Wintergrasp an all alliance or all horde server is going to suck for the other faction as they will never get into Vault of Archavon.

I was a little disappointed that there was no news about transfers from underpopulated Normal realms in the Wrath pre-patch post. Can we expect an announcement before pre-patch, or does the team plan to reassess realm health post-pre-patch/post-launch?

I still don’t have my characters, and I noticed I don’t even have access to them in the forums. I see some people saying they’re posting from their characters in limbo - is everyone able to do that? I’m starting to get worried Blizzard just lost my characters.

POSSIBLE BUG
I cannot transfer my character out of Sulfuras to Pagle, although I should be able to. It says my character is on a “cooldown” after they became accessible after the merge, but that shouldn’t happen according to CS. I was told to report this here.
Things I’ve done:
- Made sure my mailbox was empty
- Made sure I had no pending auctions
- Checked my items and gold to make sure I didn’t have anything that would restrict me
- I’m not a guild master or arena team leader
EDIT: I just want to add, the character has been accessible for at least 3 days so far. I understand it didn’t hit the two week mark for everyone so that might be part of the issue, just trying to give context.

Has anyone’s character’s actually been successfully transferred as of yet?
You mean from the merge, or to transfer out of the merged server? For me this character is accessible as of 3 days ago, but I can’t transfer out of Sulfuras.

Do not pay these criminals for a transfer anyways.
My level 60s transfered off Kurinnaxx but my alts still haven’t transferred. This is crazy. I didn’t even know this merge was going on. I just decided to resub last week and lucky me I have to waste half my monthly sub waiting to play the character I want. Why in the hell does it take 2 WEEKS. That is absolutely insane for a multi-billion dollar tech company. If this were 2008 I’d understand, but Jesus man…

They worded it poorly. They were saying that, in the past, they offered free xfers off unpopulated servers and that now what they are doing is merging all the servers together. There is no free xfer from my understanding other than the one you’re getting to Sulfuras.
