Burning Crusade Classic Realm Consolidation August 9

My understanding is that alliance side OB is still pretty decent. Horde side however is a much different story. We’ve had a very significant exodus of the raiding population over the last couple of months to the point that it isn’t healthy any longer. Maybe offer faction specific transfers for OB.

Well, thought I was just lucky that neither of the two servers I’m on are being retired then realized that these are all pvp servers. I think when classic came out, Blizz doubled the number of servers in order to accommodate the crowd. Now it looks like they are halving the number.

to be safe, i would lvl reserved names to lvl 10- paid Xfers required minimal lvl 10 to qualify.

sounds good to me

Good call champ good call

Please consolidate Azuresong. Or offer free realm transfers so those that want a Bigger population can leave. Most of the top guilds on Azuresong-Horde have left and went to Mankrik. At this point I know more people on Mankrik than Azuresong. but I play several characters and do not want to pay to transfer them all. Along with my friends still here. Another Top guild on our realm is set to leave August 2nd. This server is slowly dying and rotting away from its once semi robust population.

Have they announced what realm they are merging everyone to? I’m trying to wait to choose a different realm.

Any progress on updating the list of where we can transfer to (for free)?

How about freeing up some names from those who haven’t played in a while?

Atiesh is not small… its where many of the other mid-range servers are transferring TO on the West Coast.

“All player-characters remaining on these realms will be automatically moved to a new destination realm. We will post a full list of retiring realms and their destinations soon.”

It’s been 1.5 months and as far as I can tell this full list of retiring realms and their destinations has not been posted.
The list of free realms to transfer to, if you are on a PvP server, has also not updated.

How are we supposed to plan or move our characters before the automatic consolidations if we don’t have all the information we need to do so?

Thank you for forcing the character to move and not merging the realm like you did in retail. I hated that so much it’s not even funny.

I am on Myzrael we need to be on this list.

OB Alliance is dead too. The raiding scene is doable, but more than half of them are raid loggers. Actual pugging dungeons and stuff is virtually non-existent. We are the lowest population PVE realm, and Blizz lied to us about free transfers to milk us into staying around. If its still like this when Wrath drops im out.

We’ve added the Arcanite Reaper realm to the list above. Please transfer from Arcanite Reaper to another realm as soon as possible if you wish to avoid being moved during realm consolidation.

Thank you.

Will there be additional options for a free transfer? Say PvP → PvE options?

isn’t the realm named “Reaper” on this list Arcanite Reaper, if not which realm is that?

“In the coming weeks, we plan to remove the restriction on transfers from Normal to PvP realms in Burning Crusade Classic. At that time, we will open additional Free Character Transfers from underpopulated Normal realms wherever appropriate, and we will remove the rule on PvP realms that prevents players from having characters in both factions on the same PvP realm in Burning Crusade Classic. We’ll confirm all of the details as soon as we’re ready to take those steps”

And yet the lowest population NA Normal realm still has not had free transfers offered. Please confirm if this is in the works for Old Blanchy.

If you want faction change and other store crap that ruins the game go back to retail.
