As other posters have said, feral is significantly stronger in PvP than those “PvP specs”.
The core problem remains, let’s say Blizz buffs feral off the bottom, what happens to the next spec that is at the bottom? Especially when the previous spec received buffs because of that?
It’s just not a good idea compared to bring hands off.
It’s a bit late now but I wouldn’t mind seeing Classic stop releasing specs on the last patch each expansion, we are moving from changes to unbalanced specs to meta-based balancing. Feral was a bit of a pumper at the start of Cata and would have had that in Classic Cataclysm. Having meta shake ups from the balancing that happened in each major patch would be a good idea imo.

Blizzard doesn’t have time to add new buffs to feral, they need to be working on fixing Ele t12 set bonuses.

There’s nothing else to say, feral is being badly beaten by pvp specs from classes that have very good pve specs.

Heres a great idea for buffing feral druids
Feral bleeds now do 50% increased damage
Feral mastery is now increased by 25%
That would bring feral up to where they should be in PvE content!!!

Feral Druids have a neat little spec called Balance that is doing better than all three Rogue specs. Completely and utterly oblivious to the double standards he’s espousing.
Balance is a ranged DPS spec feral is a melee DPS spec, that’s as silly as telling a warrior to switch to mage but thanks anyways for the information.

That’s a dishonest comparison but it’s what I expect from the most dishonest person to ever post on the WoW forums.
It’s not sensible to suggest someone play Boomy when they are playing Feral.

It’s very sensible considering you have two options:
1.) Play Feral and accept your current DPS.
2.) Play Balance.
If you’re in a 25m guild it takes two weeks to get close to BiS in this current phase we’re nearing the end of.
Doesnt change the fact that Feral and Boomy represent completely different playstyles; Feral is melee, while Boomy is ranged.

No it’s an accurate comparison, derp derp a ranged dps is exactly the same as a melee dps so it’s fine is a dishonest comparison.

You know what blizz should do? Revert the “The reduction from 415% to 340% weapon damage for (cat) Feral Druids” That they added in the last patch of Dragon soul. This would equate to a 18.07% buff on overall damage for feral.
And since most people cant do basic math I’ll show my work so you can all follow along.
Let’s break down the equation step by step:
- Identify the original and new values:
- Original value: 415%
- New value: 340%

Calculate the difference between the original and new values:415−340=75

**Divide the difference by the original value 75/415 = 0.1807228915662651 (but lets keep everything simple and use 0.1807)

** Multiple 0.1807228915662651 X 100= 0.1807228915662651 (but since we are keeping it simple 0.1807x100=18.07%
I really appreciate how feral is already absolutely destroying in PvP and you can’t come up with a single suggestion that doesn’t just completely ruin arena.
Just bringing back the OOC change would have zero impact on pvp and bump feral up to at least hopefully in line with the other bottom of the barrel pve specs.
