Brutosaur still bugged in 9.1.5

As I said, he’s openly admitted that his ‘network’ of notifications only covers low-pop and RP realms.

And the reason why that’s the case is because he wants to buy the Brutosaur, and he can’t do that on mid-pop and high-pop realms because they get gold capped the moment they appear.

And because the Brutosaur hasn’t appeared on the select few realms that he scans, he’s now trying to push a narrative that it’s not appearing anywhere.

Months ago he was trying this exact same thing, only then he was claiming that the Brutosaur was removed from the BMAH entirely and only available in the Unclaimed Black Market Containers.

OP, make a thread on the Bug Report forum regarding this. RNG or not, it is suspicious that your monthly alerts stopped after the hotfix. At the very least post on the Bug Report forum so there’s at least a laughable chance it’ll be looked at. Btw I haven’t seen it on Drenden since May or June.

Exactly , tsm will notify you but not intantly when the reset happens , thats why you want to have as many lvl 60s with gold cap spread on all realms so you can check bmah , thats the reason why you gotta have boostin communities backing you up .
I wouldnt mind scarcity at all i mean i got way too much gold and i can easily pay several gold caps my issue is the item not being found since that hotfix that added the mount to lootboxes .
that carhagen person is so mad , posting on a thread that issues a problem he clearly doesnt care for , why ? trolling .

i scan all servers due tsm premium but my alts are spread on low pop and role playing servers with the assistance of boostin communities , this carhagen person keeps twisting my words and trying to confuse people he clearly doesnt care about the issue yet keeps on trying to derail the thread .

Shills lack critical thinking and twist words for their own agenda. News at 11.

He ‘did’, but later came back and clarified that TSM does scan every realm, it’s just the ones he mentioned that he’d be able to actually buy it on since those’re the ones he’s able to directly access…or something like that.

In any case I still don’t think anything’s actually bugged here and it’s just a, uh…drought? It’s possible that something’s broken of course, but…well, I guess the easiest question to ask is whether or not BMAH items (not necessarily just this one) have any sort of history of being erroneously removed from the pool and later re-added or not. Has this sort of thing happened before?

Sheesh at least on Fox when their stupidity is so openly exposed they “ahhhhh it seems we’re out of time, let’s go to commercial” … this guy just keeps going!!!

Are you an intern for Tucker? You got what it takes, it seems!

LOL at the utter stupidity of this. It’s a benchmark, really.

No, what he did was backpedal to cover his own butt after he exposed his own BS.

Again, this is a guy who tried to claim that Blizzard completely removed the Brutosaur from the BMAH so it only existed in the Unclaimed Black Market Containers.

And honestly, if he had bothered to do some google-fu, he’d know that Blizzard already confirmed that the Brutosaur does appear in the BMAH and everything is working as intended:

Here are the replies from CM Kalviery

I don’t have direct insights into this, but I can ask around. Given it is the weekend, I probably won’t hear anything back today though. If I do hear back it may not be something CS is given permission to comment on. We’ll see!

I don’t believe that is being contested here Ruffle.

The clarification being requested is regarding whether or not the Unclaimed Blackmarket Container is now the only way to acquire the mount, or if the mount itself will still appear as an item in the Blackmarket Auction House rotation.

Some have interpreted the Hotfix note to mean that the mount has been removed from normal rotation and is only in the container now.

While the OP of that thread is not the person that opened that ticket, the response in the screenshot does appear to be from our support team.

However, the Game Master in that screenshot essentially said ‘the only info available is what was stated in the hotfix notes’. This is generally because GMs do not provide game hints, and providing something other than what is stated in the hotfix blog would likely be considered a hint.

That response seems to have been taken as “it’s only available in the container” which is not how I would have interpreted the GM here.

Regardless, I don’t think we need to speculate further right now. I’m still waiting to hear back from the feelers I put out yesterday. I’ll update this thread once I have info to provide.

I received word back -

When the mount was removed from the vendor, it was added to rotation in the BMAH. The hotfix update on July 14th is intended only to add the mount to the container as well.

So now the mount could show up on its own or as loot dropped from the container.

At this time, it all appears to be working as intended

The last post from the CM was August 3rd, close to a month after the hotfix, and everything was confirmed to be working at that time (funnily enough, the OP thanked the CM for their investigation and answer).

So according to Blizzard everything is working as intended, but the OP has three times now created threads spinning BS about how it’s broken because he’s not seeing it on his limited realm scans.

Eh, I read it as clarification personally. Seeing those other posts does confirm my suspicions though that not even a blue would be able to convince him that nothing’s broken.

And yet here we are 4 months and counting no brutosaur in the region .
i received 3 different replies from gm 2 robotic replies from script and a third one that was cryptic at best from that cryptic reply the cm "clarified after asking around "
its being 4 months and no brutosaur a dev should clarify if its working as intended , all mounts are constantly on the bmah rotation the only item in the whole bmah that has not appeared in over 4 months is the brutosaur .

You have confirmation from a CM who looked into the situation.

You even thanked the CM for his investigation, and that concluded in August.

RNG is RNG.

Post on Bug Report. You’re wasting your time arguing with GD forum trolls.

No, because a reasonable person would try to figure out why a vendor mount, like all the vendor mounts before it, was suddenly ngiven different treatment and not left as a long term goal to earn like its predecessors.

I’ve made more gold during SL so far than I ever did during all of BfA. :man_shrugging:

Also for those who are unaware. The reason why it was mentioned that the OP has a TSM sub is because TSM will email you the moment a particular item comes up on any NA server. They scrape data via their addon. It’s a given that every server has at least one person with the addon who checks the BMAH. And once they do, bam! That data goes to TSM. It’s how you get illegal gold trading to dead servers so people from high pop servers can swipe bargains off dead pop realms. I can almost guarantee that if the bruto came up on dead pop server BMAH, it 100% would be gold capped by someone not native to that server.

Honestly Blizz really should just ban TSM. Imagine if dbm was 100x more powerful and capable than it is now thus trivialising all raiding content. That’s basically what TSM does to the AH.

This is actually really sad, you paid 5 boosting communities with IRL currency to watch BMAHs for you when all you had to use your (paid with IRL currency again) TSM premium license to search for it each day? And it sounds like you probably paid boosting communities (or Blizz for tokens?) IRL currency for “87 mill gold” just to get a mount and you still failed to get it? That’s a major yikes, my dude.

You got me brosef, you could have bought it in BfA but you didn’t, I have no sympathy for you especially because you’re trying to pay IRL currency to bid against (some) people who likely for earned the gold inside the game which makes it more meaningful.

Stinks to stink.

Paraphrasing a bit here but, i remember seeing a blue post about the subject. Basically they saw mounts like the mammoth / yak as something that shouldn’t be seen as a necessity but those have been in the game so long that removing them now would just hurt new players. With the brutosaur it was at least warned well in advance (though id argue they shoulda just been upfront to start) so that anyone who wanted it could get it. I kinda get it as they don’t want things like mounts / older content to be seen as required content but, they chose one of the worst times to do so with the brutosaur.

eh i came back to sl since this was supposed to be an amazing expansion and dont regret it , met some really nice guys and actually got several mounts and achievements i wanted before i quit back in legioni made all my gold and boosting communities only accept gold , not sure why you are implying theres irl currency used .
Anyways brosef i dont need yer simpathy but what can i say got too much gold and nothing to spend on , 87 million gold is not that much im sure theres people with a lot more than i do , hell i even stopped playing AH because i see no point on hoarding more than what i got whats even the point after 8 gold caps .

You’re the kind of guy that argues that Blizz actively manipulated the price of tokens as opposed to the obvious and documented supply and demand fluctuation explanation right?

Haha, ok you got me. Now I KNOW you are trolling us. Well played, friendo!
