Should work on your reading comprehension there bud.
Never did I say I was sick of gearing. In fact I specifically said I had no issue gearing up every season in the past. It’s the way gearing works in BFA that has killed the fun. The removal of vendors and dedicated PvP gear is the culprit IMO.
What would be a more accurate synopses of my position is “I’m sick of doing all this PvE crap to get geared for PvP”.
Which I acknowledged in my post. BFA is particularly bad. That doesn’t change the fact that you basically said, “I’m done, just let me play with static gear I’ve farmed one time in this precap bracket”
Perhaps I could point you toward an FPS? But I suppose those don’t start you with the Golden Gun or an unlimited ammo Bazooka right off the bat.
The only people that argue about splitting the ques are the people with Twinks. I personally never understood it but, I guess some people like turning off their exp spending a ton of gold at the AH so they can 1-2 shot people. I personally enjoy the challenge of fighting different classes and getting better and learning what works best against who.
I am all for splitting the que. You have plate class’s with so many Hp’s in lower level matches they just sit on a cap and you can’t take it from them because they can outlast everyone. You have healers with crazy hp’s that do the same and just stand their and heal and heal and heal and if you CC it doesn’t matter because their health pool is so huge. Then you have the DPS with Crazy HP’s and insane DMG, 1-2 shotting people. It’s bad at low levels then it acts like it’s starting to even out in the middle then pre 120 its people in Mythic Ant gear vs people in WQ gear. That’s a huge huge gap.
I want my wins or losses to be biased on skill and teamwork not who has the most Twink power on their side.

How does splitting the queues solve all of those things you pointed out? Splitting the queues does not solve the problem of someone having “so many HPs” and “insane damage”. Nothing would stop these players from queuing xp on and continuing to destroy other players.

The beauty is you can force them out by completing objectives or they’ll level out. Or the twinks will spend more of their time rerolling/leveling/gearing themselves instead of camped in battlegrounds.

So you agree that its ok to do these things when your xp is on, but someone is a virtual Hitler if they do it with xp off?
e: Also, how are you completing objectives with all the GY farming going on?

I’d be more than fine if twinks were forced to reroll and farm their gear repeatedly.

Why the double standard? Why are you ok with someone rolling you over when their XP is on, but not ok when someone with their XP off does it?

Gonna re-link Welfares SS. He only has gear bought from the AH. I suppose you could say it’s okay because they keep re-purchasing gear, but gold is not an issue for a lot of people. This situation would happen regardless of xpon or xpoff.

But you don’t even have to farm gear…

guess you will be waiting a very very long time because matches in legion were determined by whoever had the most broken classes/specs on the team I remember that well

Most likely because twinks decked out in BiS items are far too optimized for the average Joe even if Joe has put in a reasonable amount of effort.
Grandfathered items, items that cost hundreds of thousands of gold, etc are all far above and beyond what an average Joe is going to get. If a twink continually had to replace those as well, most wouldn’t bother either.

They would just buy gear off the AH and still be more powerful.
Sure. Resources become scarce though. Either gold or items to purchase.
You’d be looking at a few years down the road.
Disagree. If every single twink was having to reroll continuously the auction house would dry up rather quickly.
There’s only a reasonable amount because twinks rarely have to replace gear. They are usually set after a one time buy.

You don’t need BiS to be competitive, or to wreck a BG. Gearing is as easy as it’s ever been. You can make a character and put minimal effort into it and steamroll every other leveler. We’ve shown many instances where levelers are kicking out huge numbers.
Gold is as easy as buying a token. Only 4-5 slots really need to be regeared and half them slots are filled with BG vendor gear. It’s really not as difficult as you’re portraying it to be.

Disagree. The amount of twinks is already exaggerated. And some would farm for items still.

And I don’t even have all my gear updated…
