AzAMOus the rogue has made a new video on his youtube channel linking this forum page for working towards getting our beloved BC Era server an possibly a Wrath server as well. Go give it a like, comment on the video, spread the word everywhere you can. Blizzard needs to be aware there is a massive player base that WANTS TO GO HOME to BC and would love to be able to relive Wrath again in the future when we are ready as these versions of the game are considered some of the best versions before the world in our World of Warcraft changed. I love the suggestions others have about a cycle of every 2 years per version of the game starting with vanilla, then BC, then onto Wrath and having an overflow Era server for each version of the game that is unchanged with no wow token, no in game transaction paid for mounts or any of that sort, and no paid for character boost. Would also love to start a new character on each of these servers starting at level 1 where gdkp’s are monitored, bots are banned, gold selling/buying is bannable, and one where we can call home again without loads of gold being in the game.

Its really unfortunate because blizzard refused us when we asked for a “Stay on TBC” option. I never really wanted to play Wrath again, I love Vanilla and Love TBC and I love MoP also, but the other versions are just way less good for various reasons.

Dear Blizz, let classic players stay where they wanna be, we lost TBC classic once, and now you are forcing the Wotlk community to loss it all again as u did it with us. TBC is by far my favorite expansion from the first trilogy and i wouldn’t doubt a single second to play it again.

Vanilla is better than BC but BC is pretty much the only expansion thats amazing. It’s because BC is pretty much just vanilla on a different continent.

I completely agree. I would love to see a TBC era server with our old characters restored. I would love to be able to bounce around Vanilla Era, TBC Era, and SOD servers. I’m pretty sure having those 3 server options would keep me playing wow forever. It’s super unfortunate that the only outlet to play TBC right now are private servers. Come on blizzard.

I’d much rather just have the three versions with their own servers and people can do paid transfers between them (affordable transfers). Keep it at that. People or guilds that want to transfer can experience the progression and others can stay on the server of their choice. This way no one feels pressured to stick to a Blizz timeline and it also doesn’t dilute the classic population.

Exactly, people/groups of friends could even make level ones starting at vanilla and re-create their own fresh experience if they wanted to and then progress through the different space if they wanted to on their own timeline. It would be a blast.

I like that though. Mainly the rep grind allowed geared characters to help out fresh 70s in dungeons to get gear and provided plenty of healthy traffic in lfg.

I honestly have no problem starting over, in fact, I think it would be better because it would wipe out all of the gold that everyone bought in vanilla. I’m very against buying gold as it ruins content for yourself, and the point of professions.

Great points! I myself feel like I barely enjoyed TBC after being burned out and needing a break from grinding so hard on vanilla. I feel like I missed out completely.

It’s not gold (think I have like 5 G). For instance I have both Brewfest rams - not doing that again.
For me wipe all G in Wrath Era servers, but keep the characters.
I think either the option of keep characters but wipe out gold or start fresh is better than a complete copy over of our characters when players had multiple gold caps on them going into BC and Wrath.
I fully support this, there is nothing more I want than even just a single TBC era server
