Anyone who didn’t get burnt out by WOTLK, will probably have a TBC character to raid log with. Unlike other versions of WOW, the end game is really good and depending on your feelings on SSC and Hyjal, arguably the best of the 3.

lotsa content too, since vanilla still relevant and tbc added 2 new races, a new profession, 2 new classes, 7 new raids, 16 new dungeons, 13 new zones, 13 new cities and a ton of new mounts, tiers and dungeon armor sets, new enchants, recipes, patterns, toys and etc
same cant be said for retail as they chopped up professions so badly you can buy enchants and ilevel out level them before your char level can use them . its a mess .
I would actually rather have fresh tbh with gold buying/bots and gdkp’s monitored. We need a gold reset I wouldn’t want the gold capped characters from Era coming into BC.
I mean that guy is pretty dumb there is a difference between having a live game which ends in for example tbc and zones for tbc and having to level through tbc to get to current. Sorry you have to deal with that idiot. But the mind of a wrath hater is as bleak as it is small and smooth.
It’s still crazy to me we didn’t get an Era BC. Every single day I see or hear about someone wishing we had an Era BC. I’d be there right now if we did.
For real though, kind of getting to me now. I do love classic era, especially with the ability to come and go as I please and still see other people running around! Granted pop of course fluctuates and love seeing SoD getting attention as well even though I haven’t leveled on SoD myself. But I also would love to go and play my BT geared mage or TBC arena on my sham. Especially considering I needed to break from WoW for a bit in classic TBC when isle of queldanas and sunwell dropped and didn’t get to play it much in original TBC. Also feel we kind of got screwed not getting clones from blizz when wrath classic came. Now I’m stuck with a lvl 80 mage in a clown suit of BT gear and random dungeon blues because I personally don’t like wrath enough. Prob logged about 20 hours into wotlk classic leveling my main to 80 and a couple alts to 72, not even finishing all the wrath quests on my main or dungeons and not setting foot into a wrath raid before I got bored and went back to classic era. Hopefully blizz does have access to character data from end of classic tbc they can restore if they ever decided to give us tbc again. If not hoping they would at least give us clones of era toons so you don’t need to start a fresh one if you don’t want. BE and draenei not withstanding and sure with a gold cap. Not that it was even really that hard making gold in TBC but I get it. Here’s to hoping.
Alot of us took a break when BC dropped because we just finished logging thousands or hours in vanilla. Each of us have our own story of why we either didn’t get to enjoy it, didn’t play it enough, we missed it altogether, or it’s just our favorite version of the game. Either way really hoping Blizzard realizes alot of us still want BC Era.
I would also be completely fine with just a fresh BC Era from level 1 with gold controlled as if we took our characters from vanilla Era or vanilla classic back then there were obsurd’s amount of it.

Exactly. TBC had most of the qualities of Vanilla, with a little extra that added to the fun experience.
Blizz, setup a TBC server, please.
I also think it’s sad is that soon even that will be gone too, as the world will change even further and the power spike will be even more extreme. It became worse going from BC to Wrath, and Wrath to Cata is a retail feeling with no real threats in the world.
Keep making noise and they might just do it for us!

It frankly amuses me that so many people keep changing the goalposts especially when Blizzard has a history of completely ignoring the goalposts set by the players.
Well yeah, everyone takes a break from trivial conflicts when the land gets toasted 
to be fair people said the same thing about classic era servers and they have been popping for over a year now. Even still through SOD, WOTLK, retail and HC…
