Would be cool to see what people do if they enter tbc knowing that it won’t be the wrath waiting room.
I’m ready to run it back with Vanilla/TBC/Wrath progression again once we kill Arthas (:
Hoping for an Era TBC Classic server!!
TBC is pretty bad.
TBC has some of the best zones in the entire game to this day I’d love to play it again because I missed the whole thing till like ZA patch. Wrath is really boring, and zones put me to sleep especially with the quests and QOL just blah boring. but sadly, we probably won’t get tbc ever again or at least not for a year or 2 when SOD is done, and CATA is dead. Then what MOP? THEN DRAENOR? what a joke
That’s just your opinion, for a lot of us it’s home.
Stay hopeful, every day the itch to play BC grows stronger. Voice your want for it everywhere you go, talk about it with everyone, and let’s get our favorite version back.
I would love a TBC Era option. Give our TBC clones back (before they were pushed to WotLK) or allow us to take our Classic Era toons to TBC Era.
If they ever did give us TBC Era fully progressed, I really think they should remove the catch-up gear to breathe life to all the raids. In Classic Era, people are running all the raids since there isn’t a cheesy catch-up mechanic.
Eh, those zones still exist. They exist in Cata too.
i like tbc so much i am slow running a hunter thru wotlk outlands, trying to stretch out the experience, its just lonely since everyones in northrend
Why bother with Classic MoP when Pandaria is available in retail derp derp.
Honestly, can’t believe people “logic” like this LMAO.
Logic? I stated a fact: the TBC zones still exist in Cata.
Your fact was stupid in response to the other poster.
You mean the poster who simply said he’d love to play the TBC zones again?
LOL. Man, you really are going out on a limb to find something to complain about.
eek. it introduced blood elves and draenei. it upgraded druids of all specs and paladins became viable tanks. alliance got access to the shaman class and horde got paladins. arcane mages became a viable spec. hunters and rogues were buffed. we met illidan and kael’thas for the first time. etc. tbc was vanilla+
edit: and shadowpriests became viable
I think you miss the point about having a BoA’d Cata leveling toon that blitzes through the TBC content (probably by dungeon spam) versus a TBC server populated by other players, where you’re actively enjoying the TBC zones for several months.
You just missed the point completely.
I’ll never forgive it for ruining the Horde faction like that.
By the way, I just leveled through all of Azeroth, TBC, and Northrend and to my surprise I think I enjoyed the TBC zones the most. Which is strange, since from memory I don’t think I loved them all that much the first time. I guess tastes change.
tbc had cool quest chains, like nagrand , shadowmoon valley and netherstorm
TBC had something very special to it. The setting, the ambiance, the music, quests and characters. My memories of the Vanilla TBC experience stand out to me more than Wrath or Cata or any subsequent expansion.
It isn’t an expansion I spend all my downtime in, like I do with others(based on character), but it definitely deserves to have a PvE and PvP server around as long as Classic is a thing. Or if things really are tight(bs) then just one PvE server.
