Bring back PvP Templates for casual BGs

i just found this comment on the pvp power section on wowhead thought it was hilarious and decided to post it here

Why in the world do you guys want PvP power back? That means only PvPers will engage in PvP content. PvEers don’t want another thing to grind just to PvP. PvPers just need to stop being so lazy and play the game like the rest of us WoW gamers.

Pretty funny considering the fact we have had to pve all expansion

MoP/WoD gearing was amazing. This expansion has been literally all PvE gear if you want to be competitive. I’ve done so much PvE and it’s not at all fun.

Yea, how quickly people forget.

It’s ok cause pvp power is back baby!

Source? God, I hope not.

What do you mean you hope not ? Why is it a bad thing ?

PvP power sounds like a good idea to keep PvP gear relevant in PvP.

Otherwise, PvE gear will just take over again.

Well its funny how there is a ilvl requirement for LFR so freshly boosted toons cant just join in , but for BGs its ok

Yea it was bad at the time.

dont think any amout of pvp power is going to help someone who just boosts a fresh toon and decides they should gear up in pvp, unless blizz actually puts in decent gear drops

No, the reason I say this is that it is not fair to those who worked hard to get their gear.

Skewed gear differences even more. Was highly complained about when it was current and asked to be removed by many.

We’re still waiting for more details about PvP in Shadowlands, but I think they’re planning to give us a cheap set that you can quickly purchase from the PvP vendor.

It’s annoying having to lug around multiple azerite pieces for single target versus AoE, right? For each spec/role you want to play?

It’s about 5x as annoying to lug around entire 14-slot equipment sets for both PvE and PvP, for each role. It’s annoying to be gimped in open world content and soon Torghast as well because every item we’ll have will feature a dead stat.

I don’t like having dividers that inhibit me from branching out into other forms of content simply because PvP happens to be my favorite one.

I like world of warcraft more than I like WoW:PvE edition versus WoW:PvP edition. It isn’t necessary to divide the playerbase this way.

I really hope that they do this. IMO Mop had the best PVP with resilience, pvp power, vendor, and item upgrader.

I too hate PvE but I still do it for the gear, if you decide not to PvE that is on you, why should others suffer cause most don’t want to PvE? I hate quests but I knew if I wanted flight I had to do them, sometimes you have to do what you dislike to be competitive.

It doesn’t sound bad to me at all . Most MMOs have pve and Pvp sets different from each other .

This is what we have now. Corrupted gear for pvp and other gear for pve. I mean, you’ll see when it’s implemented why it was bad.

Tbh I have no idea I just came back cuz I saved up for a new pc so like I’m so lost about everything ATM LOL

No, trust your instincts. The game was better when PvP gear was bis in PvP and PvE gear was bis in PvE.

Unlike this BFA fiasco, where PvE gear is bis everywhere, so players need to PvE to PvP.
