Nobody is basing their self worth on their WoW account items/achieves lol.
I just think it’s incredibly selfish of people to try and devalue things for their own personal wants.
But if you’re going to do that, go all in not just crap on 1 select group of people.

Ye, 1800 rbgs for all the old gm/hwl gears, although it does need to be done per class.
Alliance Priest/Pally the only good sets.

I think that they’re all a bit of an eyesore and I’m kind of blind.
Pig sticker cool for enchants, though.
Some people put way too much value on 10 year old game items. They mean absolutely nothing other than you earned them when they were current.
You have the achievements to prove what you did…that’s why achievements exist.
What harm is there in allowing an old pvp set or even a recolor to be earned after the fact other than hanging on to the notion that it somehow makes you better because you have it and others don’t?

Actually, I farmed Slime Cat specifically so I could tell world questers in BGs that they can’t have one when they whisper me about it.

Ok, so if you’re gunna go this route the same logic can be applied to older gladiator mounts/titles which you said this about:
Because when those sets were ‘earned’ the game was different and it was a different time.
That’s like wanting the MoP Cmode sets or Legion Mage Tower weps in current just because you did KSM or Current mage tower.
Stop being selfish and trying to invalidate peoples earnings just because you want them for yourself.

Just make the new sets called replicas and therefore not the “real” ones or something. 
Or just make recolors of the past elite sets, that would be a good solution.

I think we’re losing sight of things here.
The whole idea was spitballing a way of reasonably bringing stuff back.
I don’t think so.
I think if you’re gunna go as far as to just put old elites back in the game, you might as well put old titles/illusions/mounts back in too for ‘coupons’ as well as allow rank 1 titles to be chosen.
