So making them available invalidates your effort? You got to wear them when they were current so why does it matter now?
Like I said earlier…Some people in this game put way too much of their self worth into this game and it shows.
If you really cared about pvp, you’d want more people playing the ladder and something like this would bring people back in droves.

Interesting tidbit but they’ve already thrown an old elite bow (wod s2-3) on a timewalking vendor, and reused the df s1 elite 2h mace appearance with the crafted one.

Making something that only a few hundred can get easier so that a few thousand get it, won’t do much for participation.
Uh, that seems to be the road they’ve been going down, and it can be done well. The naxx thing for instance was handled somewhat nicely in that they didn’t dunk all over people who’ve paid 500k a piece from the bmah over the course of the past decade, but also made them reliably obtainable.
Oh, and all while stimulating the old world economy stuff and bringing back naxx 40 unobtainable weaponry.

Oh they did, and it did nothing but devalue the gladiator title/mounts.
Neither will this, it will help for maybe 1 season (like dread season) and then when everyone gets their ‘dream set’ they’ll stop playing again.
The solution isn’t devaluing, the solution is making the game fun and adding new rewards that don’t step on others toes.
I think this a realistic solution and one that the majority of both parties would be happy with.

Heck, they already aren’t listened to by GMs/Blizz in regards to actually getting gear that they qualified for.
You realize these sets have no real value right? The only thing you lose is the ability to say “haha I have it and you don’t and never will”…you know that, right?
