Allowing elite sets to come back but not allowing older glad mounts/titles to come back is hypocritical.

I seem to remember people wanting the Immortal title to come back.
I guess? Plenty of people are upset they didn’t get a cm or mt appearance but it’s not like anybody had their experience ruined by failing to get the Hordebreaker title.
r1 titles are like the epitome of something that can and will stay gone forever, although I guess I could see them being changed to work on alts of the same class or something eventually.
Kind of a meme title anyways as you could just do it at later tiers.

I’m not even talking about me, though. 
I’m talking about what’d be better for overall ladder health and participation, although I definitely wouldn’t mind actually having something to do on alts.
Everybody queuing up their 5th alt to earn a mop or cata elite set is worth flustering a few dozen people clutching their ancient mogs without even wearing them.

I don’t like the idea of bringing back the actual elite sets either but if I have to give up the prestige on my DK of having every elite set since elite sets became a thing, that’s a hit I’m willing to take to contribute to the health of the ladder.
And all things considered, I’d rather they be tied to pvp rather than inevitably eventually tied to the trading post.

As I said before, you’d choose to collect rather than keep arena alive. You’re a collector which is fine but don’t try that with me lol.
I just can’t wrap my head around the idea of demanding older sets when a better solution would be just to make new recolors that would benefit everyone.

Assumptions.
If they were to add all the old ensembles to vendors tomorrow for 2.2k cr in 2s/3s it’d result in a ton of people queuing more, though, which is, like, the idea.
It likely wouldn’t have any long-term consequences.
Aside from, like, a handful of dramatic twitter posts about this’ll be what kills the game (for sure this time).

I’ve known you for a while Duck, everybody who knows you knows you’d choose collecting over PvPing; it’s the only reason you do arena lmao.
Or you could just add recolors and they’d do the same thing without devaluation.

Well, to be fair it’s the only reason anybody does arena.
Have arena be a standalone game outside of wow and it’d be deader than hots.
You want to increase participation add the older elites recolored and call it a day.
It’s literally a win-win.
