Great. They can go join/make PL guilds then like brewa made a guild with ML because that is what was wanted by the guild . No one on the pro ml side is wanting to stop that happening.
The problem is brewa can’t make their guild with ML any more
You are saying this like its a selfish thing but it isn’t. Having something oblu effect him and his guild is how it should be. It has nothing to do with me how his guild does loot so why should I care?
And it won’t just benefit him. It will also benefit the rest of his guild because they get to play the way they want to.

With current loot system. Bosses are still dying and people aren’t being abused.
If ML comes back boss will still die but people will be used and abused. Trials will be used to gear officer alts etc

His guild alone doesn’t make up the whole player base.
That’s what pro ML just can’t grasp.
That would be an important point to make if anyone was asking for ml to replace PL as the only loot system… Which no one is doing

You can’t restrict ML use.
Even if you do it’ll still be used to negatively impact player experience.
I just don’t see them ever adding ML.
It’s like opening a backdoor to ninja looting paradise. Whatever advantages it adds favors high end mythic raiders and competitive guilds.
Plus, I think the existence of the WoW token has severe implications on this with its ability to inject copious amounts of gold to the economy.
Therefore, it is my humble opinion that this philosophy should die in a fire.

It can be restricted to guild groups and have a ready check that asks members to confirm they want master loot enabled for that run
Anyone not in a guild group can retain personal loot

I mean if someone is in a guild, and the majority of the guild wants to do master loot, then that’s maybe not the right guild for that person?
Personal loot is definitely better for pugs, but guilds doing content with all guild members should have the option to use a system the guild members agree on

I wouldn’t want to be in a guild that used a different philosophy to do loot than my own. There are many guilds out there so perhaps if I’m in a guild that wants to use PL I should leave and find one that better suits me.
I was in a guild that slowly worked their way towards AOTC each tier. I wanted ce so instead of trying to make my guild fit what I wanted I went and found a guild with shared goals and ideas. Met a bunch of cool new people doing it too

Not everyone should need to think the same way as you, to play with you.
Gulfs will be created by kicking those players out.
believe what you want to believe, either way ML is gone forever, better off accepting that and moving on.

If everyone in the game played fairly it wouldn’t be a problem. Not the case.
Sounds like the group wants submissive players.
Problem is, these players would hop over to the ML realms and demand that Blizzard change it for them. Worst part is, Blizzard would change it.

It’s not about everyone in the game. It’s about everyone in each group separately.
I trust my guild to do it fairly since we already have 0 drama with rc loot counsel. If anyone cared for details I have multiple examples of people passing up upgrades to give them to other people.
If I didn’t trust them I would leave and go somewhere else.
If people leave guilds that “abuse” them then the guild will not be able to put a raid group together and will kill 0 bosses.
