That’s why most people who want ML are ok with having ML and PL and leave it up to each guild.
You are my homie since we both hate foxes but I don’t like this. A guild that clears in 8 months isn’t really competitive, right?
Can we draw a reasonable line that doesn’t include outgearing content?
I only invalidate people who claim things they don’t have any experience on.
Stay mad though.
Nah, if you aren’t in a competitive guild you don’t need ML. Join a HoF guild and I would agree.
I’m positive competitive guilds look at you and that Rogue you argue with in the same light. Nothing.
I thought they loosened the restrictions for the CN weapon tokens.
I’m also doubting that you are in a HoF guild.
Buddy, I haven’t raided since SoO. I also recognize that if you aren’t in one of those you are in a filler guild no matter how much you may not want to think so.
Personally, I find raiding to be the most boring end game content in WoW. I’m just waiting for gear to normalize so I can push some L$D games on my Elemental Shaman.
Then its a good thing you advocate for Personal Loot…for content…you don’t do.
If only we could all have our hands in jars where they don’t belong.
Eh, I may raid one day in the future. I could happen. Players weren’t responsible enough with ML, they took it away. Players weren’t responsible enough with down votes on the forums, they took it away.
When will you learn? My guess is that you won’t. You will just mindlessly keep begging for ML back for…reasons.
Arena is the hardest content in the game. It should give the best rewards. It doesn’t so I am here, interacting with the likes of you.
Blizzard catering to the lowest common denominator has nothing to do with responsibility. Down votes have been replaced by flagging. Down votes lead to transparency in any given opinion or statement. They took it away to save face for people who can’t handle the criticism aimed at their ideas. That isn’t a new concept.
I don’t care if Master Looter ever comes back. The people I play the game with are not so petty that the loot distribution system matters in the grand scheme of things.
All I have learned is that there are people who want others to abide by their rules without question. That Personal Loot is the way to go because “we (and Blizzard) say so”. Pulling out the Uno Reverse card and claiming the other side is selfish makes you look as unintelligent as you actually are.
Having Master Looter as an option creates the downside that those who care only for themselves may not have the same opportunity as those who wish the best for every player in their group.
Um…okay…sure. And?
Inept take. Not shocked at all to be honest.
Yes, I believe this…
Pretty dumb statement all around. Blizzard decides what happens in this game. Ion took away ML, deal with it.
You are dismissed. You are also on /ignore.
It gives the best rewards for arena. Raid/M+ give the best rewards for M+.
Imagine of someone told you that you had to be 3k rating for your opinion on how items from arena should be awarded to matter.
Oh noes, I will be without the catalyst to reply to comments that make me look smarter than I actually am, what will I do?
This is how arena works. I am a novice 2200 player. I fully recognize that 3k players know what is best and have more experience in this deep game mode. I am learning still.
Guys barely getting CE are in the same boat, they just can’t admit it. It’s actually one of the great things about arena, the stripping away of ego and realizing how much you have to learn when you do non scripted content.
You misunderstand my point.
No one below 3k is allowed to complaint about how gear works in PvP.
You can know enough to see that there is a problem at 2100, but you’re not 3k, so no opinion for you.
This is basically what you’re saying.
Back to your raid example, what about the 300 horde guilds who kill the boss before the alliance hall of fame closes, but missed the horde hall of fame?
Nah, this has nothing to do with what anyone “needs.” Building game for what people “need” is exactly how you kill the game. That’s what they’ve been doing for all of Shadowlands. We “needed” covenant systems, we “need” never ending diminishing return grinds, we “need” blah blah blah. Build the game that people WANT to play. Not the game that you think we “need” to play.
I would like to have the option to use ML, and I’d like people like you to stop telling me how I’m supposed to enjoy the game. I’m not telling you to be forced to use ML. Use PL all you want, I don’t care. Let those of us who prefer ML use ML.
It’s kind of a weird argument since gear is less of a factor in PvP (except this expansion) than pure skill and knowledge is.
Yes, this is widely considered true by real PvPers. If Mud has a different opinion on Warrior than I do, then he is right 99.9% of the time.
I play a lot of Elemental Shaman. Zeepeye isn’t someone I will argue with. Your knowledge, skill, acumen and ability to find and maintain partners and push rating are directly related to your score. Your score is your net worth.
There are factors like what you got a score on (comp, season etc) that are taken into account. But yes, there is generally agreed upon pecking order and if a better Elemental Shaman 3s player comes in here and contradicts what I say then yes, I need to consider what he says. This is like a dog pack and we all have our place.
None of this means that marginal PvE players get to dictate what tier I may get if I participate in a raid.
Go Alliance for those people is my advice.
Thank you for the good faith questions btw.
Careful, you said something rational. Jolts may have to ignore you now.
The last raid I was in was SoO. I was tanking on my Monk and a 1 hander drops to give me my set. I don’t get it even though I had the points, it was given to a Rogue that raided with us once a month that was friends with the gm. I want to say Norushen? or however it is spelled.
I quit on the spot and pugged a kill on final boss a week later. No thanks. I’ll be okay with HoF guilds having this option, not pretender guilds.
