There’s more objective and psychological hatred involved if I gave a Paladin a sword that was a clear upgrade for you as a Warrior.
Not really. I would move on. I don’t need Blizzard to baby me and put me in a padded room.
Then you’d be an exception not the rule.
You can use this logic to arrive at the conclusion that the forums shoulda be deleted.
Doubt it. I’d wager folks don’t like being babied and having options removed generally puts them off.
Blizzard can’t say they care about player feedback if they delete the forums.
On the other hand, trolls or abusers can use ML with malicious impunity.
They can pull what riot does, and do most of the feedback threads on Reddit.
Who cares if they do?
Do what they did in Legion. Have the option available only in full guild groups.
Then they wouldn’t be able to control what’s being said on their feedback forum.
Then the idea of guilds will be ran into the ground as you’re forced into them just to get into groups.
As if they try to control what gets said here.
You’re best argument is really that “they won’t be able to do something that they haven’t shown any interest in doing to begin with”
They do to a degree.
This. All player interaction has been offloaded to the forums.
The are merits to both systems
Exactly. Which is why we should have access to both which is all the pro ML side are wanting in the first place.
Stop being children who insult someone’s video game progression because they don’t agree with you and because the only thing that gives you a nebulous sense of superiority is how many Internet bosses you’ve killed.
We don’t. We simply say that someone who is 4/11N for example probably don’t know what its like to be in a CE level guild so their input into what CE guilds do is not particularly accurate or useful. Everyone can play the game however they want all play styles are equally valid but I wouldn’t go telling a gladiator how pvp should work because I don’t know.
Then the idea of guilds will be ran into the ground as you’re forced into them just to get into groups
Why would that be the case now when it wasn’t in legion?
Why would that be the case now when it wasn’t in legion?
Gear shortages would make players default to ML.
It is also a reason why you lost ML, Blizzard doesn’t want you have the fast means of efficiently gearing your raid for faster clears.
More and more “Bring Back Master Looter” threads keep arising. I wonder why
Gear shortages would make players default to ML.

So like I said.
Why would that be the case now when it wasn’t in legion?
It doesn’t matter what record your group has with ML.
It’s what everyone else does with it.
I mean you may not be, and your points are valid, but if you’ve read this thread at all then you know I’m not wrong about the insults.
And the people creating hyperbolic loot doomsay scenarios-- there will be people who abuse any system that’s created to be abusable. Don’t cite world first guilds as reasons for personal loot when they l basically buy their way around it with splits, albeit less efficiently, and at times still excluding their best players due to poor RNG.
This really comes down to the Blizzard mentality here:
-
They don’t want to have to pay for extra customer service reps for the tickets.
-
Blizzard long ago adopted the mindset that if they make the things you want in the game painful to get, you will play this game more. They do this with loot, and systems like rep. This is why currencies and rep are not account-shared resources until obsolete; they think that if they make things too efficient people will be done sooner and stop paying for subs instead of seeing that they create hurdles that make alts an unnecessary pain to play which actually causes people to play it less on the whole.
The arguments being made for and against ML are fair for the most part but until there’s a fundamental shift in how Blizzard views how they want people to play their game, none of your arguments will matter unfortunately.
