There’s more prominent factors that makes the game compelling to play than “ML/PL” GTHO of here.
In fact, I’d go as far as to say that when it comes to making a decisions to play WoW or not, the loot system will be considered by virtually no one.
Things I’d expect would be considered could be:
- Theme of the expac
- Preferred class game play being compelling
- Intricate story lines
- Friends picking up the game again
- Interesting dungeon/raid mechanics
- PVP balance
- Overall aesthetic of the game

Anti-ML already have what they want no ML.

Quite the contrary, lets focus on those since they have more of a potential impact on the health of the game and leave subjects who don’t matter like ML in the dumpster where it was left some years ago already.

None of that is actually true. I have had discussions with people I have disagreed with on more than one occasion.
The difference is they were reasonable and respectful.

Again, this is where the disconnect comes into play. I already know this about anti-MLers. Y’all might not think so, but I do. It absolutely can happen with PL. The gear you need went to somebody else who doesn’t need, and they won’t give it to you 'cause it’s “their loot”. It’s the same thing with ML. All the loot is the ML’s, and they don’t have to give it to you because it’s “their loot”.
Again, same thing, different system.
So is PL.
But, we’ll never see eye to eye on it because the anti-MLers are just so blind to hating ML so much, they can’t see the similarities.
