The mage tower appearances are tied to, the now legacy, achievements so this is “what is wrong” with letting others have it.

All the reasons you listed as reasons to not have done it are EXACTLY why it does not need to be brought back at all. We worked hard to get those appearences, so should they. It was a timely event. Do you think they’ll ever bring back the Deathwing mount? No. So if you miss out, you miss out.

mage towers were a joke in 7.3 when people were argus geared, it was ridiculous how much easier they were compared to when they were released so it really wasnt an achievement, all you needed to do is play during that expansion

Some of them were still a bit tricky. Such as the healing and tank ones.

I didn’t get all of them. But I got the ones from the classes (and specs) that I mostly play.

I’d be fine if they wanted to release an alternative color/less flashy version like what they did with Pandaria CM gear.

I mean why don’t they just make it so you have to use the game mechanics from that expansion/are deleveled to the levels of that expansion/also you can only wear armour from legion or before legion. Seems pretty fair.

Asking to do the challenge at the same level or even harder during a week or 2 once a year is highly respectful to those who got their skins. It keeps in mind the spirit of the challenge itself.

Where utterly refusing to share them at all is highly dis-respectful to all future players who wish to put in the work.

No it’s not. If you want to respect what some of us earned, then respect that we participated in the content when Blizzard told us this was the only time those appearances would be available to obtain.

My opinion about limited time content is that they can bring back these challenges any time they want. They could even make it like the holiday events. They could just change it up, but keep the themes present in the events. The rewards should only be cosmetic.
