There will be a few limited time events in 8.3.
1: The arena mounts will still be there and a limited time event. Although only like .5% of the playerbase will get it.
2: They’re adding an AotC mount to last boss in heroic raid. Like they did in last 3 expansions.
3: They also adding a mount to M+ for first time ever. Getting the +15 achieve gives you a mount which looks to be limited to this season as well.
So that’s 3 mounts that will only be available in 8.3.

Lmao what is with these threads about bringing back Mage tower? No. If you weren’t playing during that time, then thats too bad.
I disagree just give players the appearance and be done with it.
I don’t mind limited time events for handfuls of items that have ample time to get them. MOP was one outfit, that’s ok. WoD was about 10 weapon skins that’s ok too. Both of them could have been farmed with 1-3 char’s and got all the available goods before lock out. However legion was something different it was about 30 plus skins involving the mastery of all classes in all spec’s to get everything. It was a huge time investment to do, and the people who got them all certainly deserved it.
The 2 months mage tower up and allowing people to out gear the event by miles WAS in fact a HUGE insult to all those who had worked hard to earn the skins early by skill.
However I do not personally feel allowing people to come in and experience the tower scaled to super hard mode once a year is in any way a insult to those who got it. In fact it honor’s the work the original people put into it. Much like the new Vanilla WoW allowed players to see how hard things where in original content and honored those who played in it.
It is true that Blizzard said it would be up for a limited time. Putting it up once a year for a week still falls under a “limited time”.
Blizzard told us limited time. - Ok we accepted that. We are asking if a limited time return during timewalking events would be possible. - It’s now up to Blizzard to answer that. And they have not said yes or no yet, in fact they are making new towers for us to climb.
That being said the gaslighting in this thread is un-real, calling people spoiled and entitled for simply asking for a chance! Generally insulting people left and right because they dare to not agree with you. Acting like we want to rob you of everything even though we just want a chance to earn things. I don’t care if the mage tower challenges ever come back at this point but I can’t stand time window challenges with WAY too many things to collect in them, period. And I hope to never see another one from Blizzard.
I want my challenges to be actual challenges not attendance checks!!!
Frankly speaking If you want something to remain special because you happened to log in then it’s not really special. I want my special things to be special because I earned them. And I want others to have the right to earn them as well.
A scenario is a solo dungeon. So you’re incorrect.
Even so what’s wrong with other players getting it since it’s not an achievement.

It is an achievement. There’s an achievement for getting it done, and then for all three specs.

It’s not really a legacy but go on over an appearance just for a weapon.
It’s filed under Legacy. You have a problem with that, you write Blizzard and convince them otherwise. It is legacy, because it was, is, and has been time sensitive since the beginning.
You can’t balance or scale them because they were designed around specific artifact weapon talents. Those talents have been removed, so it isn’t even a matter of scaleable design. If you like the concept of these challenges ask for a new one. There’s usually an xpac specific challenge.
