It was only down in my country afaik, maybe a few other in the region. As for waiting until the end of the cloning period i find that it is justified considering they charged for it… If it was free then sure i would’ve done it asap when tbc was released, but if i’m going to have to spend a significant amount of money, i’m taking all the time available to think it through.

Out of curiosity, how long before the “payment gate” was down was it that your account expired?
If you mean the sub it expired like 2 months after tbc release, idk how long before that was you can do the math. Whats with all this questioning anyways…

Seems unlikely to happen. I don’t mind if they do, but it seems like they deleted the data.
I would pay up to $150 per clone. Even more, I’d just clone less characters.

Well now you’ve learned an important lesson about making timely decisions. If Blizzard caved in to your demands now they would deprive you of a learning opportunity.
And you are paying for a sub now, so obviously blizzard has no need to cater to you to break the rules for you because of your laziness.

Hang on, two months into TBC, you should have decided where you where going to play by then. All you had to do is choose TBC or Era, which you didn’t pay anything to do, something smells wrong there.
Also you had THE WHOLE of TBC to clone.

This service should definitely make a comeback. There are tons of people who didnt make the purchase who now want to. You are leaving money on the table.

You can - with a trial account - just need one toon past level 10 in Retail - Not that hard 
But you still need to PAY a subscription to post anywhere but CS and tech.

only subbed to transfer the SoM Character to era because they retired that as well. Will not renew it. Also ‘rules’?? what rules?? laziness??? this has nothing to do with laziness that is delusional
