I feel that the developers have a plan for classic and it’s not going to change.
I just skip the crazy posts, unless I’m in the mood to add a bit of snark.

I was referring to people saying they wanted vanilla with absolutely no changes. Blizzard is gonna release a vanilla with a bunch of changes and those same people will be happy with it.
It won’t be a Vanilla experience even with no-changes. The community is far more educated, everything has been mapped out, and the game will be reduced to mathematical setups.
The hard reality a lot of players are going to face; if you wish to DPS, roll a pure class, if you wish to heal, roll the hybrids/healers.
For PvP, this much is not as true, however, because rank 14 takes ridiculous amounts of time to farm and you cannot PvE has “undesirable specs,” DESPITE people complaining content will be too easy, they simply struggle to follow the gear curve.
the hard reality is that every enrage timer in the game can be met without a warrior, rogue, mage, hunter, or warlock present to do dps.
the hard reality is that therefore all hybrids do viable damage. is it optimal? no. but having a a half dozen hybrids isn’t going to wipe anyone.
Yes and because of how far hybrid dps was from optimal people actively avoided them. Just like today in retail people in vanilla like doing things the easy way and doing things the hard way especially when it’s obviously the hard way never appealed to anyone.
yes, the very elite avoided them.
just like on live wow where they stack the comp for exactly what they want or need. thats why you see world firsts with 5 of this spec and 5 of that spec and 4 of that one over there. so totally different. oh wait. no.
No hybrids were actively avoided at all levels of play outside of healing. But then you were in a NAxx guild so you really didn’t have much experience with the average everyday peasants.
funny because i remember raiding with hybrids. and we were in naxx.
hmmm. and most people really couldn’t be choosy.
but go ahead and keep spreading your lies.
and their you go again with that all levels of play bull.
hybrids were very welcome in a party BECAUSE of their diverse utility and toolkit. no one cared about taking a ret because he brought blessings and auras and other great stuff like that. not to mention a ressurection out of combat which was great if you had a druid healing.
and to say hybrids sucked at leveling is hilarious because the second best class at it was a druid, and shamans paladins and priests were average at best. the worst classes in fact were rogue and warrior.
and then in pvp? oh my. again hybrids were very very good.
but hey, i guess if by all levels of play you mean raiding with elite guilds only…then i guess your argument makes sense.
“Authentic” is just a marketing term which the exact definition of it means saying something is not the something it is actually named after.
As for changes, we’re already getting changes. 1.12 was tail end of Vanilla. I started playing just after 1.12, and there was tons of stuff other players would tell me about the game that was already gone. Also, the progression path was radically different on the day I started playing the game, compared to a year prior.
Any change opens the door for every change. I respect every person’s request for any change. Some would ruin the game for me. And we can post once to say we wouldn’t like that. The problem is some posters just argue over and over again about one change or another, but no one switch’s sides. Just post your disagreement with a change once and then move on.
i’m just tired of his crap at this point. like when he says we should have wrath balance because everything was fine. despite the fact that the rogue population dropped like a rock despite being given extra utility and even an area of effect attack during that expansion. so if everything was okay, why did the rogue population drop so low?
