not going to boycott, I have just cancelled my subscription. I am only interested in pvp and bliz has given extra iLVL pieces and buffs to the opposing faction. They want to purposefully unbalance the scales so we can’t compete, boycotting only satisfies their desire to balance player numbers in warmode on both sides. They do not pay any more than we do!!! I am not paying them any more and I expect the rest of my family will very soon follow. The more that drop subs the sooner they will realize but like with most game designers it will probably be too late ( this is especially true with older games like WOW). looking for the next PvP game currently, see you all
Are you trying to troll me or something? I don’t get it.
discrimination in a video game. Just when i think ive seen the most unintelligent comment on these forums someone pops up and tops it
Same #itwasneveroninthefirstplace
So that’s a yes.
Well your being blind arent you I just said no… You must have a bit of a hard time reading… I think you should get some sleep.
Right, because your benevolent faction stood against the stupidity that was BFA-launch Warmode heavily favoring it.

Warmode as a system failed. It should not have ever had any incentive, and WQs should’ve been turned off while it was active.
I’d say, “go for it,” but then that means more horde in my non-WM shard tagging things from me. I’m conflicted.
any alliance that thinks this is justified because their numbers in pvp are low, well at that time everyone had the same chance to acquire the same iLVL pieces and buffs were not involved as incentive. We PvP because we enjoy it bliz always had the option to use AI for filling the ranks in BG but chose the unbalance approach. Again the major deciding factor for me is, we all pay the same amount for our subs. why should I pay the same for less? I would feel the same if the situation was reversed!
Bye. For the first five months the horde has been telling the alliance to “git gud” or “get the rest of your worthless friends to pvp” while running around in raids farming the few allies in warmode at an average of 8 to 1 or higher odds. Your faction made most of the threads taunting the alliance about it. To be fair, there was a minority of horde players who actually called out the mouthy ones. STtill, blizzard finally implements a way to get alliance in and states tnat the bonuses will switch to the under represented faction and now ya’ll are fighting even that. It sounds t o any reasonable person as though a good portion of the horde base will only be happy if they have everything and the alliance players quit the game or change factions. Dude, you guys brought this about by camping flightpaths and quests for literally months in raids.
Allies been camping turtle quests and azurite quests for months. as for your minority issues that is well an alliance issue not a dev issue. we were not individually buffed or op iLVL by the devs. and again, allies pay no more than we do for our subs.
I have seen way way more alliance crying over crap that isn’t fair, etc than I have horde especially here on the forums. Those same folks are now attacking horde for whining now. Yet they were the whiners first. I wonder what’s next you will whine about.
Game design with bugs or exploits that aren’t intentional is one thing, aka, one faction being locked out of something that the other enjoys for a few days before it gets resolved. Game design or mechanics that are intentional and are controlled by player participation or the lack thereof is another.
The hilarious part tho is that the alliance turn on WM to do 1 quest on Tuesday and then turn it off. When they turn on WM en mass then they greatly outnumber the horde who participate for just 10% extra rewards.
You have no data to support that it is a requirement that Warmode must be left on for any period of time to be added to the overall total of participation by either faction. It could be a simple flip to “on” that registers, or being sharded into a Warmode zone that adds to it.
Nope.
It’s a dev issue. The factions are out of balance because of a precedent of preference.
No, you were just noticeably better in terms of racials for a very long time, creating a playerbase imbalance.
You’re right, we don’t. Yet we have an inferior experience in PvE/PvP content since your faction possesses more players.
What the dorf said.
It’s not about making “people” happy or keeping specific demographics “happy”. It’s about equalizing participation among disparate groups that have different interests and thus require different motivation to encourage continue participating.
Horde was fine with getting their free loot for not actually PvPing, but whined over and over again that Blizz should “fix” the fact that there were no Alliance to kill for the weekly quest.
You can’t have it both ways.
Per Ion in the Q&A, you are exactly the kind of player that lead to the 30% bonus and quest.
If you’re not interested in wpvp at all, don’t turn on War mode.
The only thing I hate about Warmode is that it can only be activated in capital cities like Stormwind and Orgrimmar instead of any rested areas in any zones.
